This is a charming hotel in a perfect location with a good staff, a comfortable room and bathroom. There are more cafes than you can count nearby and several major attractions within near walking distance. You can walk to metro stations and the train as well. We walked all over and enjoyed every minute. It is exactly as pictures show.

This hotel is lovely ,great location comfortable and very French so perfect in many ways but i was suprised by the the male night staff member with grey hair ,his total disinterest towards my elderly mother and myself and resolute lack of basic manners . It was like we were in a Parisian movie with the comforts and hospitality of home. The location was excellent and the hotel is a classic French boutique hotel. We didn't want the experience of a large elegant hotel but opted for this small, personal Boutique hotel just around the corner from the classic Cafes Deux Magots and Cafe Flore... More

This hotel is located in a wonderful St Germaine area. Off the Blvd, many cafes, shops and art galleries. Close to the left bank of the Seine. The staff is like family. Thermos are small but very pleasant.

I stayed here for 3 nights in Sept. 2015. As others have said, the location can't be beat. The room I had was in the rear and quiet. The bed was good and the bath was a good size, but the lighting in the room was poor. I have marked this hotel down a point due to the unfriendly woman... More

Wow. what a location. There are cafes and great restaurants at your door step. We didn't have to leave a couple block radius for all of our food needs. The rooms weren't noisy from the street either. It's also a very good location for walking. About 15 minutes to the Louvre and Notre Dame. The room was smaller, but good... More

We loved this hotel! I knew the location would be perfect from reading other reviews, but the actual hotel itself exceeded my expectations. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
