Hotel de Seine lies in the heart of Rive Gauche without being "schicky micky", the reception gives you a warm wellcome and offers almost family service. Breakfast quality is good. The room was nice and quiet.

I can't say enough good things about the Hotel de Seine in Saint Germaine de Pres. I've stayed there twice for several nights on each visit. It's a 3-star hotel with a/c and a lift. It's located between the River Seine and the Blvd. St. Germaine. The interior rooms are quiet and are very dark at night when the draperies... More

Stayed for 6 nights in August on our first trip to Paris. We wanted to stay in St Germaine after recommendations from friends. We chose Hotel de Seine from other Tripadvisor reviews and we highly recommend it. The location is superb, just around the corner from Rue de Buci, filled with cafes, restaurants, gelato outlets and shops. It's a short... More

Three night stay in triple room, 61, on top floor. A little on the small side for 3 people but there are larger rooms available. Great location in a lively area with an abundance of restaurants, cafes and trendy shops. Within walking distance of the River Seine, Notre Dame Cathedral and The Louvre. Reception staff speak English and were very... More

We stayed 3 nights in a triple room with 2 adults & an 11 year old. We weren't too crowded but we weren't in the room much other than to sleep because it's such a great area to stay in. The bathroom was a decent size. We able to walk to Notre Dame, the Louvre and along the River Seine... More

Stayed at this hotel for the weekend. Room is a decent size for central Paris. Location is fantastic! Bathroom has basic amenities. The toilet of our bathroom (room 34) was right by the window, there are curtains, but these are literally touching you/the toilet when drawn. I tried not to think about what might be on those curtains, I highly... More

The hotel has character and charm. The rooms are a good size and the staff are friendly and helpful. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
