We stayed 3 nights in a triple room with 2 adults & an 11 year old. We weren't too crowded but we weren't in the room much other than to sleep because it's such a great area to stay in. The bathroom was a decent size. We able to walk to Notre Dame, the Louvre and along the River Seine... More

Dear Shamrock4, Thank you very much for taking time to post a comment about Hotel de Seine. What a pleasure to see that you had such a great time in Saint-Germain des Près. You made a very good choice with that location. Saint-Germain is always lively. During the day you can choose between the good bakeries, and then walk in... More

Just back from a wonderful short break to Paris with my wife and 10 year old daughter. We stayed at the Hotel de Seine in St. Germain des Pres. This was a fabulous hotel in a superb location - lots of galleries, cafes and restaurants, as well as designer shops close by, and Notre Dame within easy walking distance. We... More

Stayed at this hotel for the weekend. Room is a decent size for central Paris. Location is fantastic! Bathroom has basic amenities. The toilet of our bathroom (room 34) was right by the window, there are curtains, but these are literally touching you/the toilet when drawn. I tried not to think about what might be on those curtains, I highly... More

Dear Christina W, Thank you very much for choosing Hotel de Seine. Saint-Germain des Près is a great location and we totally understand why you appreciated staying there. However, we are sincerely sorry to read the trouble you had with the curtain in the bathroom. We will fix that as soon as possible, because it must need an adjustment. We... More

The hotel has character and charm. The rooms are a good size and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is a short walk to public transport and an easy walk to the River Seine, bars and restaurants. It isnt however a noisy street and the double glazing for the bedrooms was good. The beds are very comfortable but... More

More

We recently stayed at this property for 4 nights. Easy access to public transport, Seine River, restaurants and the life of Paris! We had a twin room overlooking the court yard. Very quiet. Beds were comfortable and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Thank you Hotel de Seine!

My husband and I stayed here for a week in late June 2015. Remember that while in Paris, walking and metro are best forms of transportation. This hotel is perfect location for sight seeing, shopping and away from packed tourist hotels. It's a small boutique hotel, but the staff will get to know you quickly and make you comfortable.

We choose this hotel based on other reviews. We are a family of four (adults) and needed two rooms. We reserved twin bed rooms. They were on separate floors which was alright with us. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
