We booked a room in this hotel and were taken to a room in the annex of the hotel. The room was nice looking and had a nice bathroom. As we walked in the room there was a strong odor of mold. After about 20 min I began not to feel well and we asked if we could have another... More

Wow. What a nice little hotel in an absolutely fabulous location. I needed a cheap room for one night and happened upon this. The only thing cheap about the room was the price -- the room was exceptionally well appointed with a luxury bathroom and a location that simply cannot be beat. I would easily have expected to pay 2-3X... More

When looking or a new favorite hotel in Paris this seemed like a good candidate. Marais is a great neighborhood and has everything you need in terms of life, shops, restaurants, public transport and is close to the river! My colleagues went running along the Seine river in the morning. The hotel is small and in a quiet side-street and... More

We have been here 4 or 5 times and it remains our favorite hotel in Paris. It has been completely renovated since we were there last and they’ve done a beautiful job. The décor is soothing and comfortable. Our room wasn’t huge, but was certainly large enough for our needs. The floors are all stone, which is nice, but they... More

As other reviewers have noted, the Annex down the street isn't great. The room is acceptable and quirky, but the shower floods in just a couple of minutes and inundates the rest of the bathroom. Not a deal-breaker, but a little frustrating. The only thing I'll complain about is the manager we dealt with, who twice gave us inaccurate information... More

Reasonably priced for Paris, great location, clean, comfortable and French . Rooms are small but more than adequate. Baths are nice. The rooms are cute and we'll cooled. The neighbor is quiet with a great bistro and boulangerie almost next door. If they upgrade their pillows and towels it would be perfect

We got the ground floor room which is designed for disabled guests. It was a little bit noisy being at street level, but this did not affect our sleep. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the bathroom has been poorly designed in that there is no shower cubicle and it is built on an angel which means more water pool in... More

This might be a nice hotel in a nice location ... unless you stay in the four-room "annex" down the street from the hotel proper. Annex rooms have a moldy smell and annex showers drain so slowly you can't get clean without turning them off at least once before finishing (otherwise you flood the bathroom). DO NOT LET HOTEL MANAGEMENT... More

This hotel is right where you want to be if you've not yet had a chance to get your bearings and figure out the metro. The river is at the end of the street, and then it's a short walk to Notre Dame, or cross over the bridge and catch the Batobus to all the attractions. My rating would have... More

When I return to Paris I will probably stay here again, the room, a triple on the top floor, was nice and the location was excellent. Great area for shopping, close to most things including the subway, restaurants, Notre Dame Cathedral. It's literally just a couple of minutes walk to the River Seine. Less then a block away is a... Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
