Our superior double room (#301) in the hotel's main building offered charm and convenience in a small, but workable package, ideally situated in the Marais neighborhood. It is close to the river and within easy walking distance of Notre Dame Cathedral, Ile Saint-Louis, Place des Vosges, and the Louvre. The room was comfortable and spotless and had a spacious, functional,... More

I rate on Cleanliness, Comfort, Convenience and Cost. A great location in a quiet area two blocks from the Seine in the Marais. Easy walk to the Bastille and Notre Dame (or pick up a bike from the Velib stand at the Sully station like I did). There are four metro lines close by - 1, 5 7 & 8... More

We spent 7 nights in this hotel on a family holiday . The location is perfect , in the Marais and close to Notre Dame . The Sully Morland metro station is located just at the end of the street. We were given a family room on the ground floor opposite reception . The room itself was very nicely furnished... More

Great location, close to Metro stop. Tricky to find at night. Suggest you use the address for the MonoPrix, as it is across the street and easier to find at night. We had a 2nd floor room, with cute Ikea bedding and an outdoor patio, where two could sit and enjoy. Close to main avenue, easy walk to marina, kind... More

The little Hotel Saint Louis Marais is in a great location in Paris, and the rooms had a great price/quality ratio for the 2 nights I spent with my wife there. First we were put in the ground floor in an annex to the main hotel, which we quickly contested because we don't like ground floors and there's more noise.... More

This small hotel offers good quality of accomodation. Looks new renovated, fresh and celan. Very nice interiors. Resonable prices in rooms minibar, although room doors should be much more soundresistant couse guest can hear everything from stairsway. And one thing was not so comfortable: when guest are comming back at night, have to wait until someone from stuff unlock the... More

This is a very small hotel tucked off the main streets, with a room just a small path larger than the bed. The bathroom was nearly the size of the room and very clean and comfortable. The area is surrounded by small pubs and restaurants of many styles, all ten to fifteen minutes away by comfortable walking pace. The subway... More

We booked a room in this hotel and were taken to a room in the annex of the hotel. The room was nice looking and had a nice bathroom. As we walked in the room there was a strong odor of mold. After about 20 min I began not to feel well and we asked if we could have another... More

Wow. What a nice little hotel in an absolutely fabulous location. I needed a cheap room for one night and happened upon this. The only thing cheap about the room was the price -- the room was exceptionally well appointed with a luxury bathroom and a location that simply cannot be beat. I would easily have expected to pay 2-3X... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
