The hotel is absolutely great. It is situated in the heart of Paris. On Rue Dauphine, it is about 10 minutes walk to the Musée du Louvre & Notre Dame cathedral. Great restaurants are just on the doorstep and many local shops all around. It is also close to many local art galleries. Sephora, Louis Vuitton, etc. are also just... More

My husband and I spent one night here, on their 6th floor room with a little balcony. We absolutely loved our stay. Our room was tiny tiny tiny, but once we were seated on the balcony, overlooking St. Germain with a glass of wine, the size of the room didn't matter one bit. Additionally, the bathroom was a manageable size... More

Cozy, immaculately clean gem, wonderful front desk staff, fabulous morning croissants delivered to your room, comfortable beds and everything you need right in the neighborhood. Steep stairs loved by 8 year old. Thank goodness for the tiny elevator--our family & friends aged 8 to 57. Only a few small rooms per floor and a tiny breakfast room, all quite manageable.... More

I've stayed at this place 4 times now. Each time I return to Paris I think about booking a different hotel but then fail to see the reason. This hotel is in a GREAT location. Within easy walking distance there are a TON of shops, restaurants, local markets, everything. Now that I've gotten the "tourist" out of my system, I'd... More

We LOVED Hotel Le Regent! We were so lucky to be in Paris on an atypically sunny & warm spring week, so we were able to walk everywhere. The hotel is in St. Germain and is steps away from cafes, amazing restaurants, shops, art galleries, the river, Notre Dame, and more. We walked to the Louvre, to the Latin Quarter,... More

The hotel was excellent as we had expected. The staff was attentive and the courteous. The room was small and sometimes difficult to navigate. We will certainly be back. See you next month. Paul & Bee Brown

First time visitor to Paris and when I go back I will probably stay at The Regent again. Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
