Location ok for access but not very exciting area. Very quirky decor and very small room with no view- one dead plant in a window box looking out at a wall.. Breakfast not provided but tea and coffee facilities in the room and a very very small fridge which didn't function properly. Closest train station not on a main line... More

As a solo traveller, I am more into practicality and convenice yet I would still appreciate and look for a spacious room. This is exactly what Hotel Mayet had to offer. I stayed there in Jan 2015 and enjoyed the excellent location, very close to Duroc metro station and right next to the hotel there are few bakery shops and... More

We were two parents and two adult children sharing apartment #7. It was just yards down the road from the main hotel complex. We really had a great experience. For Paris size rooms, this place was roomy! A very nice size kitchen with small table, stove, refrigerator. Plenty of restaurants and shops close by, and the walk to Duroc metro... More

Friendly, helpful staff and an unpretentious and comfortable hotel. Close to Durok line 10 metro and the vibrations were only just noticeable in my 1st floor room. Air con was welcome as was the option to enjoy a quiet beer or cognac in the reception area late at night. Wifi was ok and the only niggle was a buzzing sound,... More

nice hotel in side street. very close to Duroc metro station and bus to Gare du Nord. small room but nice bathroom and some hanging space, also fridge and safe and air con courtyard view - just opened onto the alley between buildings. we didn't have the breakfast as there is an Eric Kayser bakery at the metro station and... Nice, modern hotel - staff was very friendly and helpful. The room is small but very functional, small bathroom but updated and modern. I suggest not to ask for a courtyard room as the room is very dark (facing a wall, no courtyard view).

I loved staying at Hotel Mayet! Firstly it's in a great location so most sites were in walking distance. Or Duroc Station is 2mins down the road if you need to catch the metro. Very convenient. All the staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help. I request a top level room as I had read that they were... More

We were very impressed with this hotel after our 2 night stay with our 4yr old. We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to an immaculately clean, modern and rather cleverly designed room on the top floor with a double and single bed. We know from previous vists that Paris rooms are small however this room was cleverly appointed... More

We spent 2 nights here in a very compact clean room. There are no extra amenities but the location is convenient in the St. Germaine arrondisement with a Carrefour close by if you need food or sundries. There is coffee in the room but no refrigerator. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Stayed with friend in 3 double rooms in this small hotel. Small rooms that are cleaverly decorated so that everything has a place. However the beds we're too hard. Very friendly and helpful staff on every shift. Breakfast buffet was not of the bigger kind but good still. Location very convenient, near tubstops but if you like walking you can... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
