I booked this hotel after researching many hotels on the Left Bank and was not disappointed. The room was a Twin Executive sufficiently large to have a desk and chair at one end and a small sofa at the other. The en-suite bathroom was modern with plenty of hot water. The air conditioning was efficient and very necessary in a... More

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds and clean room. Room fairly small for twin sharing. Hotel in a small lane and very quiet for good night sleep. Lot of nice restaurants around the hotel. Walking distance to metro station and place of interest.

I booked this hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews. We were a family of 9, 6 adults and 3 children. The rooms were charming and comfortable. The staff was very gracious and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in the marvelous area of St. Germain

Hotel La Perle is located on the left bank in the middle of a neighborhood with small restaurants serving a wide variety of foods, bakery, ice cream, pharmacy, close to ATM machines, and metro stops. If you plan on walking thru Paris taking in the sights this hotel is a good location. The front desk staff are very friendly and... More

Great location, friendly staff and very comfortable beds. The rooms could be a little bit bigger. I haven't tried the breakfast. The location include very close restaurants and a famous church, as well as supermarkets and shops.

This hotel is conveniently situated close to St Sulpice cathedral in a street with a good mix of interesting shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is pleasant inside, clean and has helpful staff. I would not hesitate to return, the cost was reasonable and breakfast was good.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. St Germaine is one of the loveliest districts with great shops and restaurants. The hotel is a short walk from the Metro, good restaurants, supermarket, and the Jardin du Luxembourg for relaxing. Lovely rooms, yes they are on the small side but so is anywhere affordable in Paris. All conveniences in rooms (except... More

This hotel was centrally located on the left Bank in Paris in the 6 arrondissement. It is in walking distance to many of the major attractions such as the Louvre, the D'Orsay Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral. Public transportation was a five minute walk from the hotel. The hotel bedroom was very comfortable and well-maintained and the hotel staff provided... More

Stayed at La Perle for 4 nights in August. Great location in the St,Germaine arrondissement. Walking distance to numerous restaurants, cafes and bars. 10 minute stroll to the Seine. 5 minutes to the Metro, Les Deux Magots and Cafe Flore. Room was very comfortable, fresh and quiet. Nice breakfast room including a garden courtyard area. Absolutely recommended !

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
