We would definitely stay at this hotel again! We were a little worried because it is technically a "3 star" hotel, however it is only because it has no pool/spa or official concierge. However the room was spotless, atmosphere quaint, and the staff very friendly (all spoke English well) and helpful. The location was amazing! You are on a quiet... More

You will not find a better location in Paris! The hotel its self is small but perfectly serviceable. The staff are great. I have stayed at a few hotels all over Paris but this is now my absolute favourite! 2 mins from the metro which is so easy to use, great bars and shops directly around the hotel!

Stayed at LaPerle in May 2014 for 50th Anniversary. The location was excellent in walking distance to Notre Dame, Musee orsay, Louvre, Eiffel Tower and many others. Restaurant choices were many and good food at moderate prices (for Paris). Hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful in providing directions and suggestions as well as getting transfers. Rooms were quite nice... More

This was our second stay at Hotel La Perle, and we were just as impressed with our second visit as we were with our first. We spent five nights in a lovely superior room with a timbered ceiling. The room was spacious by Paris standards, and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the comfy down pillows and fluffy down... More

Great boutique hotel for first timers in Paris, lovely staff - very helpful, fantastic location. Would definitely stay again and recommend highly. Good value for such a great hotel although rooms slightly small - to be expected in Paris

Small, charming hotel located in a small street in St Germaine. Within walking distance of many landmarks , plenty of restaurants and shops. Nearby metro stop and taxi stand. Our initial room on the 4th floor was a good size and the bathroom was modern, clean and well lit. Comfortable bed and pillows with a warm, soft comforter. Cozy breakfast... More

Recently we had the great fortune to stay at the Hotel La Perle, I can see here that plenty of other people have weighed in on the hotel's loveliness (true) and its' great location (true). I have had the good luck to travel a bit of the world as a travel writer and I can say that it's the staff... More

Perfectly situated on a small street, steps away from incredible restaurants and the Metro within 1 block. Rooms are very large for European standards, and the bathroom is modern with a great shower. Bed and linen comfortable and clean. Friendly staff too - an overall great hotel.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
