Centrally located for the Spanish District two blocks away from the st germain des press metro station. We had queen size bed with flatscreen window overlooking patio, walls were not 100% noise proof, bathroom was modern with all the amenities. Typical paris small elevator, good continental breakfast with many options. Staff was very helpful on restaurants, and activities nearby, as... More

The hotel is wonderful, worth the money! Its in a central location, close to stores and lots of little cafes and pubs. On the weekend we could here people out on the streets having fun but it was bearable. It is walking distance to shops, tourist bus stop (the hop on hop off type of bus), The Seine, Notre Dame... We booked an executive double bedroom at Hotel La Perle for Valentine's Day weekend. Reception was very nice, the hotel well located in St Germain des Pres. The room was spacious, the king bed a real one. Nice bathroom as well with only small default being one piece of the ceiling not properly screwed back. The big drawback and the... More

PROs: The hotel is right in the heart of Saint Germain des Prés, a walk away from Café des FLORE, Metro stations St. Germain des Prés & St. Sulpice. Close to supermarkets and everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The staff is very welcoming and they have solutions for mostly everything you might wish for. The breakfast buffet has... More

La Perle is ideally located to explore Paris, being on the West bank, so close to the Seine and all the tourist sites that border the river. The hotel is quiet, secluded, beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. The staff are helpful and considerate, the rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is typically continental, so you can eat... More

We booked this hotel after deciding on 6th district because of the great choice of shops & restaurants, didn't disappoint. If u like shopping this is a great place with all the top designers here on your doorstep. There are lots of nice restaurants close by too. The hotel is really clean & tidy, has a nice bar area and... More

We would definitely stay at this hotel again! We were a little worried because it is technically a "3 star" hotel, however it is only because it has no pool/spa or official concierge. However the room was spotless, atmosphere quaint, and the staff very friendly (all spoke English well) and helpful. The location was amazing! You are on a quiet... More

You will not find a better location in Paris! The hotel its self is small but perfectly serviceable. The staff are great. I have stayed at a few hotels all over Paris but this is now my absolute favourite! 2 mins from the metro which is so easy to use, great bars and shops directly around the hotel!

Stayed at LaPerle in May 2014 for 50th Anniversary. The location was excellent in walking distance to Notre Dame, Musee orsay, Louvre, Eiffel Tower and many others. Restaurant choices were many and good food at moderate prices (for Paris). Hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful in providing directions and suggestions as well as getting transfers. Rooms were quite nice... More

This was our second stay at Hotel La Perle, and we were just as impressed with our second visit as we were with our first. We spent five nights in a lovely superior room with a timbered ceiling. The room was spacious by Paris standards, and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the comfy down pillows and fluffy down... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
