We liked our stay at this hotel. It's about a 6 minute walk from the curb of Gare d'Lyon. About a block from the Seine. Several restaurants nearby. A short walk to the metro. For the price, a very central location. Comfortable bed, quiet room., very friendly and accommodating staff.

Stayed thr for 1 night only. Location is near to station. An airport shuttle bus runs nearby stop. Room was ok but lift was very small, corridors gave a look of a maze. Was in balcony room and view from it was very good. Didnt take breakfast or dinner. 3 stars.

Good position (near the center of Paris), good service, brekfast was too expensive for the offer (10 euros) and my room was too small. The smallest bath that I ever seen. Normal clearness. If you don't have particular request....

Rooms are not very big. In some of them you could have problems when you have a lot of luggage. Atmosphere is great. Receptionists are very friendly and helpfull. Cleaners are like a machines. Fast as a F1 bolids. I have gone to buy a cigarettes and 10 minutes after the room was cleaned. Breakfast are very very minimalistic. Only... More

For the price, I think this is a very nice hotel. I had a single room facing the street, with my own French balcony - all for just a bit more than the hostel I had stayed in the days before. The hotel is close to Gare du Lyon, which is convenient if you need to catch a train from... More

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Jules Cesar. What I enjoyed the most was its location. True, it's not close to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre or many other must-see attractions, but a Metro Line 1 Stop is just five minutes away, at the convinient Gare du Lyon. The charm of the Bastille neighbourhood is that it never... More

Nothing extraordinary about the Hotel Jules Cesar, very average, but also worth the price. Rooms are small but bed was comfortable, which is all you need when you are only in the hotel to sleep. Decent location, used the Gare de Lyon to catch the Metro.

There are enough clues to confirm that this is really no more than an average hotel. Everything from the internet photographs to the pricing and location confirm this. It is what it is and surely no right minded person would consider dining there. In fact the pricing of meals is reflective of the most likely policy of the 'direction' to... More

Location, staff & price are good Rooms are tiny, walls are think and you can literally hear everyone, especially the elevator. I recommend eating out because the eateries around the hotel are delicious and significantly cheaper than what the hotel offers.

The best thing about this place is the location. Next to one of the main train stations in Paris - Gare de Lyon. 2 min walk maximum. Staff: friendly but not too overwhelming Rooms: ok, but you can hear every word that is being spoken in the hall way, sometimes even in the next room. Also, all the rooms like... More

Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep.
