We stayed is this hotel for 7nights. Although it is a small hotel, we cannot complain about it. Rooms are small but are enough for two people and jad enough space for 4 luggages. Rooms are cleaned every day and new towels are given every day as well. Breakfast is limited but a baguette and a glass of juice or... More

Our hotel room was tiny but clean. The shower is a challenge for anyone 6 foot or over. But you cannot beat the convenience of the location. You are within a 10 minute walk to the Louvre and 15 minute walk to Notre Dame and St. Chappelle. If you are just looking for a place to stay to sleep and... More

This hotel clearly sells itself as a 2 star and that's exactly what it is. The room was small and tired looking, but clean and functional. We only look at a hotel as a place to sleep and that's all this is, there is no reception area to talk of and no bar or lounge, breakfast is taken in the... More

It was my first time in Paris, the hotel was close to the metro, supermarket and the shopping places. Rooms are quite small, warm (I went there on February) and clean, Wifi was free. Staff was very kind, friendly and helpful.

The good: Excellent (underlined twice) location. Friendly reception. Relatively clean. Excellent heating (my visit was in Feb) The bad: Very small room. Very (underlined twice) small bathroom. Limited toiletries and interesting but not very useful hairdryer. Street noise. Would I recommend it? I don't think my room would fit two people with their luggage. If you are travelling alone then... More

Very good location. Near is big metro station for all directions. Small room and bathroom. Was worth the money since cheap for central Paris. This hotel is so perfectly situated a few minutes (literally) from not only the Seine but from so many other iconic buildings.

It was our first time in Paris so the hotel's accessible location was perfect for us. It was close to everything- the metro, tourist-must-see-places (louvre and notre dame), right beside a supermarket and the shopping places was just outside the doorstep of the hotel. Rooms are quite small but clean. Wifi was free which was also good. This is not... More

It is not a 5-stars-full-optionals hotel but it has an unbeatable location and excellent value for money ratio. Chatelet Metro station in front of the entrance, Louvre and Notre Dame a few steps away, free and powerful wifi signal, small and old fashioned room but bed and bathroom extremely clean... what to ask more for the price paid? I will... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
