Just a wonderful location for sightseeing. Louvre museum, George Pompidou, Notre Dame all in walking distance. The hotel has all right standard rooms. Not big but have seen a lot smaller in Paris. Bathroom is dated. Not for long persons! Could have been a bit cleaner. Wifi was good. Metro is very close (especially line 1). Supermarket is next door,... More

My fifth visit and I plan another visit this year. Flor Rivoli is not George V - it's a small family run hotel just a two minute walk from Chatelet, Ile de Cite, the Louvre, les Halles, need I go on? Herve and Martine are wonderful owners/hosts. The rooms are neat and clean, staff is small but so helpful. I... More

Visited over Christmas break with my 18 year old daughter and her two friends. The college girls were on a tight budget and this hotel was just perfect. The location was fabulous - walking distance to Louvre and Notre Dame - with shopping and lots of restaurants. Metro right across the street and supermarket next door. Rooms were small and... More

A comfortable basic hotel that is value for money. Small-ish but not tiny. Dated furnishings/decor but clean. Fantastic location. Near the metro, shopping and major attractions. There is a fully equipped supermarket beside the hotel that you can get affordable breakfast (fresh bread, cheese and freshly squeeze orange juice) or last minute dinner (sushi, salad and sandwiches).

This hotel was one of the cheapest hotel I found in Paris, which is centrally located. The Louvre is literally a 10 minute walk and shopping at your door-step. The room was clean, the bed was clean, the bathroom was clean, which had a bathtub. The hotel has a tiny elevator which on fits 1 person and a luggage. The... More

Stronguests points : - The hotel staff is ALWAYS ready to help on giving directions, places to go, where to eat. They let you as confortable as possible. - The localization is simply perfect. On foot you can go almost everywhere within eight minutes on foot (Musèe du Louvre, jardins de tuileries e etc). - There is a metro station... More

This hotel is perfectly located in Paris. You will not find a good hotel, with this price, clean, with lift and this location. Small, but is all you need if you are looking for a good place to spent the night and enjoy the city.

My mum and i stayed here for 3 nights. We paid on arrival with cash and the hotel reception staff were really welcoming and spoke excellent English. The room itself smelt old however it was clean and we had a window we could open. The room was cleaned daily and towels were replaced daily too! We had a twin room... More

The location of this hotel simply cannot be beat. Just a few minutes walking from the front door and you're at the Seine, turn right and walk another 2 minutes and you're at The Louvre! 30 steps (literally) from the Chatelet underground station. There is a beautiful full service mini supermarket right next door (Franprix) The rooms are small and... More

Yes the rooms are basic and small but they are clean and you can't beat the location. Just steps from the metro in the shopping district (which is unfortunately mostly closed on Sunday's). Walking distance to Notre Dame and the Lourve. Stayed here two nights and didn't have any issues sleeping but I do travel with earplugs anticipating that inner... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
