This hotel was recommended on trip advisor and it lived up to the recommendation. Clean, quiet, friendly, convenient and reasonalbly priced for Paris. This hotel is close to all the sights in the historic area, many in walking distance including Notre Dame, Louvre, Orsay and the Seine river for a boat cruise. Special thanks to Clementine, Adelaide and Jacques for... More

The Grand Hotel des Balcons is located at 3 rue Casimir Delavigne in Paris. It is just down the street from the Odeon Theater, which is an impressive landmark. The street is a quiet one, even though in the bustling Latin Quarter. The interior of the hotel has been recently renovated with striking chandeliers and lovely decor in the breakfast... More

I've been staying here for decades as well as recommending it to friends, and everyone is always pleased with their stay here. The street is quiet, the welcome is warm, and the hotel is very affordable. The staff -- especially Jacques, who works the front desk -- are unfailingly helpful in terms of sightseeing, taxi reservations, and so on. I... More

I always stay here when in Paris because of the friendliness and Efficiency of the staff. It is so well located, near Metro, buses, and cafés. It is a short walk to the Seine and to Saint Germain des Pres. I would like to especially mention Clementine and Jacques, always helpful and going one step beyond to make stay comfortable.

Booked this hotel for a short break in Paris with one of my sons. Chose it on the recommendation of a friend, having found nothing more attractive at this price in this location. Found it excellent value, Clean comfortable room, everything worked, quiet street outside, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast. Beautiful park just up the road. Near to all sorts... More

We spent three nights here this week and share the sentiment of my fellow critics; a great location, accessible to metro and sites, fresh clean linens and rooms etc. A great breakfast (12euros) downstairs in a nice setting with everything you would want, including coffee Americano and decaf. The front desk staff were exceptional, particularly Clementine and Jacques. The consensus... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel was a very affordable option in this trendy and pricey area of St Germain in Paris. It was very well positioned to the Odeon metro train stop and very close to a number of restaurants and shops. Breakfast was an additional 11 euros, but well worth it.

This hotel is in an excellent location, within sight of the Odeon Theater. Jardin du Luxembourg is a block away, as is the Sorbonne & the Saint Germain shopping district. As a solo traveler, I paid 98 euro a night for a single. A special two-night minimum rate gave me the second night for only 49 euro. Can't beat that.... More

I love this hotel, the staff cound not be any nicer! Linens are very nice, new and fresh, and bed is comfy. I have stayed here two or three visits to Paris. They have great prices for a perfect location. I haven't tried the breakfast, so can not comment on it. I tore my meniscus this past visit, and the... More

Great location. Family of 4 (two girls 7 & 9). Paris is expensive, this place isn't "bargain basement" but was a great value considering the location, size and overall experience of staying here. We didn't eat at the hotel as there are so many options in the area. We had the top floor family room and it was so roomy... More
