This hostel really disappoint me. The "free" breakfast consists of a small piece of bread, a juice box and coffee. If you want more, you have to pay extras. Also, they block the wifi signal from 1am to noon. You cannot access your room from 11am to 3pm. It says it's for people between 18 and 35, but many kids,... More

So surprised to see this place listed. Went there some years ago during a trip to Paris.( which is not the date showing, it was before, but no option for that.) The place was clean, as much as you can expect. Private bathroom, more like a closet, Continental breakfast with the real French baguette. Very convenient location, subway, supermarket, laundry,... My husband and I booked a few nights here through Hostelbookers.com for a decent price. This was my first hostel experience. We booked a private room, and it had two twin size bunk beds. There was a sink in the room, as well as a safe. There are tall cubby holes for your belongings. The bathrooms and showers on our... More

I stayed in a 4 bed all-female dorm with a friend for 6 nights, & if I hadnt already paid for the hostel when I checked in we would've left ASAP. Firstly, they dont even offer you handsoap, not in the ensuite or public bathrooms. You have to buy your own handsoap. Our bathroom was cramped, smelled like sewage (which... More

I booked at Bastille Youth Hostel for 16 students and 2 adults as part of our French Tour. We have received the warmest welcome everywhere in France BARRING in this youth hostel. The receptionist made a mistake with our booking which increased the final price at the last minute... It would not have been such a big deal had they... More

Really cheap hostel, with very good location, subway station near it. The staff was really helpful and nice, always trying to help us. Good rooms, tidy and clean and the neighbours very friendly. I bring with me a very good friendship. Nothing bad to stand out, everything was perfect.

Group charged twice for one night at fault of staff member. No apology, acceptance of fault or cash back given. In fact the hostel made us feel like we were being cheap by wanting your own money back and were incredibly rude and unhelpful. No refunds either if you change your plans and are not staying at the hostel. Made... More

Pent a weekend at room 407. A simple Auberge, ideal if you're searching for a place quiet place to sleep in and leave your things while exploring Paris. Properly clean; bed linen well washed and not so-worn looking; room locker efficient and of safe appearence (digital code system, also). The fact that there's no elevator (at AIJ at least) can... The worst hostel I've ever been in all my life. Dirty, without all the thinks which makes a place decent. I have no word to describe my experience. It's sad to see that these are the places where young people are welcomed, and it's expensive!!
