Location is super, in the middle of the Marais. But the staff is very rude, unfriendly and cold. You can read about this issue in many reviews about this hotel on Trip Advisor, and they are right! You can find tons of better hotels in the area for the same prices, where people have learned that kindliness is the key... More

Loved the location of the hotel,a 5 minute walk from main metro stations that connect Paris. A bustling busy area, but when at the hotel you sleep without any noise. Large rooms compared with other hotels, the toilet is clean and new. Every day the rooms are cleaned, and linen changed along with the towels

I would prefer a duvet instead of a blanket. The owner lady is very kind and happy. The location is great because it is very close to the city hall in the Marais area and close to many different ways of transportation

This is a charming, family run, clean, no frills hotel in the heart of the Marais. A few blocks from Hotel de Ville and Rambuteau metro stations, this hotel is close to restaurants, bars, and shopping without being so so central that the crowd or traffic noise is overwhelming. I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 1 night on a business trip. Great location & close to Metro. But: started off badly when my room key appeared not to work & when I went back to reception to ask for help, the reception staff were fairly rude & moaned about how tired they were... Obviously I wasn't at all tired (as the customer)... More

The hotel itself is adequate, but the staff are exceptionally rude. We were greeted by an angry and rude member of staff at reception upon arrival. We were forced to downgrade our room size, due to a communication problem, which was entirely the fault of the hotel. The rooms are very small and very basic, that is why I opted... More

Nice hotel, staff is friendly and helpfull and is perfectly located. We asked for a bigger bed due to my length, still got a small bed but we got a fairly large room on the fifth floor. To room was nice and clean. The only complaint is that they have pretty thin walls and we could hear everything that was... More

Easy booking by email and immediate confirmation was the highlight of the stay. It's not too easy to find but once you find it you will love the location. Right in the heart of Le Marais, with all the trendy bards and shops around, few minutes from Notre Dame. Hotel is in quite street but because there is zero window... More

So convenient, yet on a fairly quiet street. Close to some nice restaurants, boulangerie, metro spot, walking distance to many popular sites. The front desk was super friendly and helpful finding places to eat, etc. The rooms were small and basic, but that is what we expected. They were clean and neat and the beds were very comfortable (although also... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
