It's an old 1 star hotel, nothing but a nice shower and a decent bed in a clean room. Sometimes that's all you need. The rooms are very small, if possible try to get a room facing the inner court, as the street in front can be noisy some days. Recommend the restaurant just in front of the hotel, Le... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, very friendly staff and a great location. Reasonably priced and would definitely recommend it to others. Room was very clean and spacious. Lots of of nice bars and restaurants close by. In a busy part of city close to underground.

This is a little gem is you are visiting Paris and plan to be very much ‘out and about’ not planning to spend significant time in your room. It is very reasonably priced and is in an area which has quite a lot of nice nightlife, cafes and bar, all around it. Easy access to Sentier and Etienne Marcel (closest)... More

Stayed here for 4 nights and to be honest can not say anything bad, it is a budget hotel, one star if Im not mistaken, so do not expect fancy, but it has everything you need. We stayed in 604, so we had a shower and double bed. They only thing we found strange was there was no tv. Rooms... More

We stayed here for three nights and would like to give it a strong recommendation. When we planned this trip, we wished to find a hotel that is equipped with an elevator, within walking distance to an RER B station which has elevators/escalators, and easy to get to the Opera House, the Louvre and Odyssey museums. Of course cleanness and... More

I stayed here and it is great value for Paris. You are very centrally located and close to many places. 5 minutes walk to Les Halles which is Paris's old market place , 5 minutes to Centre Pompidou, 10 minutes walk to the Louvre! What else do you want? I can tell you, fast and good complimentary Internet and that... More

We would recommend Tiquetonne to anyone on a budget seeking a good location in the 2nd district. We opted for the double room w/private shower, as not all rooms include a private shower for your convenience. This is a no frills basic accomodation, but the staff are pleasant and helpful and did a fine job in communicating with us as... More

It's a cozy small and clean hotel in the center of Paris. The hotel is close to the main attractions in Paris and to the metro station as well.it was good for me the staying there. I do recommend it for the small budget travelers.

This hotel is in a handy location in the up and coming 'hipster' area of Paris. Room was clean though VERY basic and the staff were very friendly. Main downside was as many rooms do not have a bathroom, I was woken through the night with noisy guests leaving their room to use the bathroom and doors slamming. Was better... More

Our room was on the 7th floor (703) with a view of Sacre Coer ... nice. I'm pretty tall (2m) and the ceiling was around the same, but it was ok. Wifi in the room was not good. Bathroom was new ... the rest was old but clean. We were happy ... especially because of the price.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
