Our room was on the 7th floor (703) with a view of Sacre Coer ... nice. I'm pretty tall (2m) and the ceiling was around the same, but it was ok. Wifi in the room was not good. Bathroom was new ... the rest was old but clean. We were happy ... especially because of the price.

We've stayed here twice; once in a small double with a shared bathroom, the other a double on the top floor with its own modest bathroom and shower. For the excellent location you cannot beat staying here if you really want to enjoy Paris. Don't expect all those extras that you might receive with other hotels. In my mind, you... More

A wonderful little hotel in the center of Paris. Rooms are tiny but the bathrooms (I had two rooms) are good comfortable size. Wi-Fi is free, a little slow as everywhere in Paris, but it is there. Very clean with friendly staff. We asked for a room facing the street as we wanted to hear night life and just see... More

I was travelling with my daughter, my father and friends from the US to Paris. The staff has been very friendly and supportive, the rooms were spacious, clean and quiet at night. The best is the location for such a good prize: It is very central, only 10 minutes walk to the Louvre and 15 minutes walk to the Seine and... More

Stayed here for 1 night in June as a couple. The hotel itself is in a great location, 5 min walk to a metro station. There is lots of shops, bars and restaurants around the area as well. The room was very basic, which we expected, but it was comfortable, large and welcoming. We booked a room with the shower... More

Great hotel that's only 20 min walk to the centre of Paris. We stayed in the triple room which is basic but with a quite large private bathroom. My only fault is that it's on a noisy street at night and it wasn't til 3am til the noise calmed down. That being said the value for money and the location... More

I stayed here a week ago, it was quiet, clean, very well placed inside Paris, helpful staff. It made my stay in Paris :) It is very close to Eglise Saint Eustache, Les Halles, there are many restaurants in the surroundings, we used to walk daily until Notre Dame from the hotel...really enjoyed it!

Great location and so convenient for all the sights and attractions, some rooms are not en suite and consequently there is a 5 euro charge to use a shared shower on that floor. Didn't try the continental breakfast as there plenty of choices elsewhere within a few minutes walk.

To get the negatives out of the way first, we don't mind the toilet and bathroom being in the corridor, but paying five euros for a shower is a bit steep. Some may find the lack of a TV a problem, but who comes to Paris to watch TV? (Well, the French Open is on, so my wife does for... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
