The staff were very accommodating to me and my friends as we booked another apartment originally but didn't work out, they managed to fit us all in and really helped us out, lovely hotel with a view of Paris, the bed was sooo comfortable and it was very clean, shower gel, lotion and shampoo were all included. Didn't have the... More

We had a magical stay at this hotel. The room was very cosy and a bit old styled, but very original. We had a view over la Place des Abbesses, at night you can watch the people go by and at day there was a big market of products of Bretagne (like champagne, crepes and oisters), which you could taste... I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in mid December and I have to say that I could not fault it given the low price! The room was more than comfortable, although the bathroom was on the small side but not a huge issue for me. I found the hotel staff to be very pleasant and accommodating.... More

I stayed here for 5 nights. When I arrived they weren't able to find my booking (made 4 months earlier on Expedia by my travel agent) and the only available room was a privilege room which was more expensive so I had to take that. Not the best start but they threw in free breakfast for me. Room was fine,... More

Hotel Regyn's was most accommodating! The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. Staff were most helpful and the views were killer. The cafe courtyard outside offered up great street performances and the local restaurants were fantastic! There was however, a funky smell in the walk through entry/cupboard that occasionally permeated the room. There wasn't a chance I'd be hanging my... More

We have several times stayed at Hotel Regyn´s and always been pleased. It has an attractive location on Place des Abbesses with the Metro 10 m away and in Montmartre being more like a French village and still the metropolitan close by. It is a 2 star hotel, but it is clean, with friendly service and if you chose certain... More

Very well located to explore Montmartre and red light district. Extremely close to metro station. Top floor has great view of Eiffel tower, and surprisingly it was quiet at night. Very small elevator (as with all Europe hotels). Concierge so so. Small room, but enough for a night or two.

I came to Paris for two days. The hotel is okey due to rooms are clean enough and not too big. People are friendly and the breakfast is enough for 9,30 €. In cafes near to the hotel you pay aprox. 7 € per a croissant, coffee and orange juice. The most benefits of the Hotel is that the metro... More

We stayed at the Hotel Regyn our last night in Paris. Perhaps I should not have expected more in this popular area of Montmartre for less than 200 Euros, but I did. I had just spent the night at a 2-star hotel in Chinon, France, for less than 100 Euros that was absolutely perfect in every way. Then we arrive... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
