We stayed in Montmartre as an add on to our weekend in Paris. The room was clean and tidy and had its own bathroom. The staff were very helpful and gave us good advice to watch out for pickpockets. If you get a chance ask for a room on the 5th floor for a wonderful view of Paris and the... More

The hotel was in a lovely area of Paris, very bustling and lively. The room was very small with limited areas for putting possessions out, so felt a bit like camping. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean. The bathroom was shabby although the shower worked well and there was always plenty of hot water. The staff cleaned... More

The Hotel Regyn is in a great location, just up from the Abbesses Metro stop in Montmartre. So just outside the doors were nice restaurants, patisseries, and up the hill Montmartre. I had a single room and it was tiny, only a couple of feet of free space on each side of the bed. So there was no easy place... More

It's hard to say anything bad about this place given the location and the price, but I will never stay here again!! I booked online and my credit card was charged so I paid in full before arriving. Upon arrival the staff was friendly and nice, however they changed the next morning when I checked out. The staff insisted that... More

We stayed for two nights during a hot Parisian summer. I knew I had to park a little bit farther away and pay something like 27 Euros per day for parking, but I had totally neglected to check for AC (I take it as granted nowadays in two-star hotels and above). The room didn't have AC, the nights were 28°... More

I have just returned from a 3 night stay over the Easter weekend and since my last stay in December 2014 I was rather disappointed with this stay! I booked a Comfort Room with 2x single beds via Booking.com in January and paid in full. As I was sharing the room with a male friend I included a note at... More

The staff were very accommodating to me and my friends as we booked another apartment originally but didn't work out, they managed to fit us all in and really helped us out, lovely hotel with a view of Paris, the bed was sooo comfortable and it was very clean, shower gel, lotion and shampoo were all included. Didn't have the... More

We had a magical stay at this hotel. The room was very cosy and a bit old styled, but very original. We had a view over la Place des Abbesses, at night you can watch the people go by and at day there was a big market of products of Bretagne (like champagne, crepes and oisters), which you could taste... I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in mid December and I have to say that I could not fault it given the low price! The room was more than comfortable, although the bathroom was on the small side but not a huge issue for me. I found the hotel staff to be very pleasant and accommodating.... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
