This hotel was delightful and the staff so helpful. I loved the little lounge in the evenings for a quiet drink and great music. The breakfast was just beautiful with plentiful choices. Would definitely stay here next time!

This was the first stop on our trip to Europe. The Hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, and there was zero language barrier. The location of the hotel was perfect for walking around the city and seeing the major landmarks. We felt very safe in the location. There is a great bar next door called the Rosebud that makes a... I had chosen this hotel two times already about 10 years ago on business trips. This time, it was for leisure with my wife. We stayed there for three nights and we never regretted it. The room was quite small, but this is not a great surprise for Paris. Our room was located on the street side and it was... More

We chose this hotel because of the location. Although we never ventured in this area, the metro station was less than. 5 minute walk away. We could get to the Latin Corner, where we ate every meal, and Cite very quickly. It was on the most useful line. There was a bakery and some nice restaurants right on the doorstep.... More

We have been visiting this hotel every year since 2008 and we love the hotel and the excellent location We always book a junior suite and really like room #69 but the hotel never seem to be able to answer requests for repeat rooms etc and don't seem to recognise our loyalty in meeting these requests On check in this... Very Nice hotel, friendly and and very clean. It is a small hotel and the staff is very friendly. The metro is just around the corner and the B train to the airport is 15 Walk away ... It is easy to walk to all the sightseeing areas and the area are filled with good restaurants and movies.

Great location, great staff great room. The area is safe for a solo female travelers and I also so many happy older couples. I greatly enjoyed the restaurants nearby and accessibility of the metro to anywhere in Paris. Very clean rooms and great value.

The hotel is within easy walking to loads of restaurants, including 14 Creperies within a 100m stretch!! It is very close to the Metro too. As we were staying for 5 days we chose a Junior Suite and we were very grateful for the extra space. However, the room was quite hot and the air con would cut out every... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and we would definitely use this hotel again. Located on a side street in a more local area you are conveniently located near Metro stops, cafes and a great little patisserie. In the morning there is free coffee although the breakfast seemed pricey (we ate from the patisserie). Nice and clean and a great... More

This is our second visit to this great little hotel.Montparnasse my not be the tourist centre of Paris but it is lively with plenty of places to eat and is easy distance from many of the top sights of paris. This hotel is minutes from Vivan metro (line 4) on the fairly quiet rue delambre. Staff are friendly and helpful.... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
