Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Close to various metro stations and lots of restaurants and cafes. Good nightlife around the hotel. The area is well serviced with shops, pharmacists and town supermarkets.

We stayed here for 2 nights and were impressed by the friendliness and well spoken English the staff displayed. The rooms are classic Parisian size, pretty small but not as small as the drive way to the underground car park! The car park is a great bonus if you have a car but my parking sensors were alarming all the... More

Stayed two nights. Asked for a taxi at 8:30 the morning of our departure. Did not arrive. Staff blamed taxi company. If this were true then common courtesy requires they alert guests to that possibility. They failed to order the taxi and refused to accept responsibility. They were not the least concerned with our predicament, distancing themselves as quickly as... More

We just spent three days in Paris, and this hotel was far more than I expected. My experience with three-star hotels in Paris is that the rooms are very small with good service and amenities, but nothing more. The Lenox is an exception. The front desk staff speaks good English and is very service-oriented and helpful. Thanks to another review... More

Great location, small and cozy hotel. Rooms are small but clean. Breakfast is great and the self-help bar service in the evening is a good idea. The walls are thin and I did wake up a few times in the early hours by voices and vacuum cleaning in the hallway. Otherwise I would have rated this at 5 stars

The hotel is located in the area of Montparnasse with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The metro stop Vavin (Line 4) is within walking distance and can be a good base to explore the city. The staff is incredibly attentive and helpful at all times. The room is small for western standards but it is clean and comfortable.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
