I discovered this hotel via Trip Advisor. I was impressed w the reviews. I emailed the hotel directly. I must say kudos & special thanks to Adele & Tania, Hotel Front Desk Officers for being so warm & friendly. They were patient & efficient in replying to all my inquiries before i made the booking. We booked Hotel de Latour Maubourg for it's special offer and superb location after seeing the photos and glowing reviews. We haven't even arrived yet--will post again after our return in a couple weeks--but the service has been excellent. As another recent review said, the staff is very responsive, even prior to booking. I have made 3 or 4 questions... More

This hotel has rooms on 3 floors, the top floor having the largest one. All other rooms are rather small. Also, the lift is very small, and when you get out you'll still have to carry your bags up and down some stairs, as the rooms are all on slightly different levels - so perhaps not the best choice who... Fantastic location, across from Metro station, and also full taxi rank. Excellent wifi, GREAT shower, very comfortable bed. Close the shutters and you won't hear any outside noise at all, to the point where we slept in most days, unaware of the daylight outside. Best of all - THE SERVICE. Adele, Tanya and the team were fantastic, answering every request... More

This very small hotel is just a few steps from the metro station. It is also centrally located to everything. You can walk to Eiffel Tower, Musee dOrsay, The Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral. There are many good restaurants around the neighborhood and the street market is just a short walk. We would recommend the hotel to anyone who want to... More

Amour d´Hotel de charme! This says it all :). Great location, very good breakfast, served in the room. Waking up like this, ...what else can You ask for? We love the rooms under the roof. We go there every fall, for a romantic break.

Not a spot for folks who want minimalist decor, to be sure, but all the discussion about the location is spot-on, cab stand (best way to get a cab in Paris) and Metro stop right out the front door, plenty of small shops in a few blocks of the hotel. I had the smallest room they offered, which just looked... More

We stayed 4 nights, a very good hotel, excellently located next to Invalides and 10 minutes walk to Eiffel Tower and Louvre areas. Breakfasts simple but great quality. Would highly recommend it. It feels part of a residential area but within walking distance of most tourist precincts. We booked the Empire room and it was very spacious and comfortable.

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
