A hotel I've walked pasted many many times. Got a good deal for 5 nights and worth every single euro. Great location for all the bars, restaurant's and clubs. Close to Notre Dame, Hotel Du Ville and Pompadue. Very friendly staff, room cleaned every day. Proper fluffy towels and good quality toiletries. The only down side is coming home. Go... More

The Hotel Duo is a boutique hotel in the heart of the Marais. I discovered it by accident and I'm glad I did! The staff is great. The location is amazing. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and chic. I highly recommend it.

Hotel is perfectly located in heart of Marais near public transport, major sightseeing (Hotel de Ville, Centre Pompidou), shopping (BHV, Les Halles, Rue Rivoli) as well as (gay) nightlife. Rooms are cosy and are well maintained but are smallish. Service at reception is friendly and very good. Breakfast is served at the table (no buffet). Limited choice...

Dear evde, Thank you for your time and consideration. Indeed Le Marais is known to be home to such esteemed figures as Robespierre, Victor Hugo and John Galliano. Here you'll find medieval narrow streets, trendy bars and restaurants, high fashion, and small ethnic communities. The location of Hotel Duo permits you to accede all the major sightseeings like Place de... More

The hotel is located at the edge of le Marais district and close to Hotel de Ville and Notre Dame, so perfect for sightseers and those who like boutique shops. Plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make life easy for us. The rooms were tiny, really... More

Dear STEPHEN H, The Hotel Duo is grateful for your time and kind words. Indeed the location is perfect for sightseers and those chasing the original boutique shops. The Marais is known for it’s rich architectural assemblages. A lively district with bounty of designer shops, fascinating museums and the old Jewish neighborhood vibrates with French architectural history. A glance at... More

The best thing by far with the Hotel Duo is it's very central location in The Marais. The second best thing is Stefan, who checked us in and was always informative and engaging. However, this boutique hotel is fraying at the edges, and although there are works going on now in the lobby and elsewhere, the rooms need urgent upgrading.... More

Our doubleroom was pretty small but still, Hotel duo felt luxurious and modern with it's stylish interior. Service was perfect. We asked to get our breakfast delivered to our room and got a generours trey with coffee, croissants, yoghurts and more. Location is perfect if you like vintage shopping, design shops and eating out.

I received helpful pre-booking information from Stephane, gust service associate, and great service throughout my stay. He went out of his way to answer all my questions, find the information I needed, and making suggestions on surrounding venues. All with a pleasant attitude, always with a smile! Stephane made my stay great, I would return any time! The hotel location... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
