The st-Georges is a 10 euro cab ride from Gare du nord, easy walking distance from sacre coeur and a 3 minute walk from the metro. Nearly everywhere we wanted to visit was accessible with just one change. Rooms are clean and ours had a bath - a real plus when space is at such a premium. There's no mini... More

We spent our 25th wedding anniversary in this hotel. We were overwhelmed by the care of staff, the cleanliness of the hotel and the comfort provided. The staff were well informed and provided all the information we needed to enjoy our time in Paris. We will definitely not hesitate to stay here again

The hotel location is very good with walking distance to Montmartre, and staff was welcoming and spoke good English. Lobby area modern and fresh, dining room the same. Rooms a bit small but ok for being on Paris. The breakfast was not big but quote nice, not only the typical French breakfast. Juices were very good. If you can, avoid... More

Perfect for a first trip to Paris - stayed late December 2014. Very helpful staff, perfect room for a base exploring the city, plenty places to eat nearby. Great breakfast in the morning, enjoyed the neighborhood,

We were fortunate enough to make another visit to the Georges Opera in Paris. This must be the tenth time we have been to this hotel and have never been disappointed. The staff are welcoming and obliging and the hotel itself is a delight. It is quirky in design in that it is has art deco touches - quite unique... More

From the moment we stepped through the doors of this stylish boutique hotel, we felt completely welcome and at ease. We were greeted by an exceptionally well mannered, professional concierge who did everything he possibly could to make our stay in Paris unforgettable. This level of service was a common theme amongst all who work in "Hotel George Opera". Each... More

I stayed at this boutique hotel with my boyfriend in December 2014-January 2015 and it was a great experience. The hotel was extremely clean, the front desk personnel (most spoke English) were very helpful, the hotel is a minute walk to the St. Georges metro station, and internet is free (though spotty at times). The rooms are small, as you'd... More

The hotel has a good size, not like american or russian big hotels, but for europe its fine. The food, more specificaly, the breakfast was excellent, really really good, nothing to complain, the coffee, the fruit, always cheesecake, etc. The rooms were clean and new, also the bathroom. If i had to go back to Paris someday, i would chose... More

We never could have thought that the hotel would have been such an ease to our staying in Paris!!! A hundred meters away from the train station, located in a peaceful, elegant neighborhood, within walking distance to Montmarte, a few meters away from Moulin Rouge, surrounded by a variety of ethnic restaurants!!! Cozy rooms, picturesque dining area, delicious breakfast buffet, pleasant... More

I have used this hotel a number of times over the past 18 months and have never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are always clean and well appointed. The inclusive buffet breakfast has always set me up well for a days meetings and the free soft drink bar is always welcome on hot Parisian days.... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
