The hotel has a good size, not like american or russian big hotels, but for europe its fine. The food, more specificaly, the breakfast was excellent, really really good, nothing to complain, the coffee, the fruit, always cheesecake, etc. The rooms were clean and new, also the bathroom. If i had to go back to Paris someday, i would chose... More

We never could have thought that the hotel would have been such an ease to our staying in Paris!!! A hundred meters away from the train station, located in a peaceful, elegant neighborhood, within walking distance to Montmarte, a few meters away from Moulin Rouge, surrounded by a variety of ethnic restaurants!!! Cozy rooms, picturesque dining area, delicious breakfast buffet, pleasant... More

I have used this hotel a number of times over the past 18 months and have never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are always clean and well appointed. The inclusive buffet breakfast has always set me up well for a days meetings and the free soft drink bar is always welcome on hot Parisian days.... More

My boyfriend and I visited Paris early in July this year during the week of Bastille Day. We were looking for a hotel that was within close proximity to the centre as well as north of the Seine in order to make it easily accessible from the Charles de Gaulle airport. After spotting an excellent deal on lastminute.com for the... More

The most beautiful boutique hotel we have stayed. Great location, 2 minutes from the train station St George and 4 minutes from the station Pigalle. THE MOST helpful staff we've seen. For the celebration of 20 years anniversary we had requested a quiet room with a view and really although that our reservation was four days before they gave us... More

First time in Paris and were very happy to stay at the Hotel George Opera. The rooms are small but clean and adequate for putting your head down at night after spending all day experiencing Paris! The staff were wonderful and always had recommendations for restaurants and helpful with any requests. Its a very quirky hotel - check out the... More

Stayed here from 7th November to 10th November 2014. The hotel was lovely, very well presented, very clean and had a lovely atmosphere! The staff themselves couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They were always willing to assist in any way they could. Overall, they added to the experience of Paris. I would happily go back to this hotel... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
