The hotel is clearly under some renovation and while this didn't impact us too much it did contribute to a generally shabby feeling. And a lot of extra drilling noise. Room was small and recently renovated, although the style leaves something to be desired. Good location and free wifi. More

The extremely small lobby is under complete renovation right now - they are in the process of demolishing the lobby. Dust, plastic sheeting, and debris everywhere. My husband and I stayed there in March 2011. The location is great. The breakfast is good and sufficient. The street is quiet. But the hotel in itself is absolutely overpriced. Try to get another hotel in Marais before booking a room in this one. It is a two star hotel for the price of a three star. More
