I greatly enjoyed staying at the Hotel Splendid Tour Eiffel. The hotel has lots of character and charm. We stayed on the top floor and had a terrific view of the Eiffel Tower. All staff members with whom we interacted were helpful, courteous, and efficient. The room was smaller than many Americans are used to but perfect as a place... More

I can't say enough about Hotel Splendid and its staff! They made my first visit to Paris the most amazing experience Ive had so far! The hotel is in the best location being across the street from Champ du Mars with amazing views of the Eiffel Tower, Across from amazing Cafe's and most importantly just around the corner from the... We went to this hotel cause we wanted a room with a view over Paris and this hotel had views directly to the Eifel Tower. First we booked a Superior Double Room but we got a nice offer for a Junior Suite so we took that one. The view from the room was magnificent. Direct view to the Eifel Tower... More

After much consideration I decided to book this hotel. And here's why; its cheap, its situated in an ideal location for those who want to commute quickly and easily to the main attractions, it's in a quiet area - away from noisy roads, rowdy bars and clubs. Last but not least.. The view! From the balcony, one can see the... More

My 5th floor room with balcony afforded amazing views of both the Eiffel Tower to the left and the dome of Les Invalides to the right. The room itself was the usual compact Parisian size, but very clean and well laid-out, and surprisingly quiet. Very, very short walk to the Metro entrance. My only disappointment was the hotel's "no eating... More

Amazing location. Got to stay on a high floor to the see Tower sparkling on the hour. Nothing quite like it. The room could definitely use some upgrading, but nothing that is greatly inconvenient to your stay, and it was clean. The roll away bed is not the best, but I can sleep just about anywhere and after a full... More

Perfect location for visiting Paris- the rooms have views of the Eiffel tower and make lovely pictures. We arrived late but the bottle of champagne was waiting in the room for toasts on the balcony ( tiny) with views of the Eiffel tower in lights. Restaurants, taxi stand and metro close by. The service was wonderful- very helpful and friendly.... More

This hotel was great. The staff was helpful. We called uber to arrive there & leave & it was easy to find. We requested the room with the balcony overlooking the eiffel tower & we got it. There's only a few rooms in the hotel with this view we were told. Happy about that. We didn't eat breakfast at the... More

From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, the hotel and staff totally exceeded our expectations! We arrived at the hotel at 11.45 AM and check in wasn't until 13.30, but Daniel checked us in and allowed us to leave our luggage with them whilst our room was being prepared. He told us to be back for 13.00... More

My 11 year old daughter and I stayed here for two nights in April. It was her first time in Paris and I had two days to bring her around the sights. Like most newcomers to Paris she was really excited about seeing the Eiffel Tower which is one of the reasons I booked the hotel. I had requested a... More

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
