Standard hotel but well priced and very well located near the Eiffel Tower and a metro station. Reasonable size room, clean and serviceable. Plenty of good local cafes and restaurants. The bonus is the Eiffel Tower view especially the night time show. We didn't eat at the hotel.

Hubby booked this place for my birthday, its not luxurious by any means but it was nice, clean and the view of the tower, and location was perfect, I always recommend this place to friends, would definitely stay here again

Rooms are tiny and tired. They are relying on their affordable rooms with Eiffel tower views. The view from our balcony was sensational. We were there on Bastille Day with fireworks and you seriously couldn't get a better view at that price. We upgraded to the top floor, worth every penny. So much better watching the fireworks from your own... More

Great hotel, walking distance from the tower. We got a room with the Eiffel Tower view, it was worth it especially at night when it glitters! Only issue was the size of the room but anywhere in Paris it's the same problem,

We very much enjoyed our stay here. We booked a Superior room for two nights and ended up with a lovely balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower! Location can't be beat--walking distance to the Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, and boat tours, with many restaurants, cafes, shops, and a Metro stop nearby. There is also a grocery... Booked this hotel through Expedia for a short break as a gift for my partner's birthday following good Tripadvisor reviews, & stayed on floor 5 in room 505. I received good customer service via email from the hotel prior to my visit when I was requesting a specific room I'd seen requested on Tripadvisor. Slightly annoyingly, this request didn't seem... We stayed for 9 nights with 2 rooms. The service from the online booking to our last taxi ride back was fantastic. Helpful reception, clean rooms, comfortable beds and facilities. Best value for money. With the view of the Eiffel Tower from our window or balcony, just breathtaking! Rooms 205 & 408). I Recommend room 407 for honeymooners. Has a... More

I recently stayed in this hotel for a week and had mixed opinions really. The plus sides are; -A view of the Eifel tower from your room -Metro station across the road, so quite handy if you're planning to explore -Some fantastic restaurants locally -Friendly Staff The downsides; - The bathroom is pretty small - The windows let in quite... Dear Miss, We thank you for staying with us while in Paris, and for the time you took writing your rather nice comment. The photo on the website doesn't do them justice. Eiffel view is larger, closer, more amazing when you've booked a room in Hotel Splendid. The 7th arrondisement isn't busy as other districts like 6th or 9th, but it doesn't matter, my senior parents (who aren't into much walking) loved the fact that we are so close to Eiffel. I like... Ok it's not the Ritz but it doesn't pretend to be. Other reviewers have commented on some drawbacks. I was surprised at that when I looked at those reviews. We had no problem with staff - they all seemed fine and friendly to us. As to cost, compared to lots of places in the world Paris is a very expensive... More

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
