We stayed for 9 nights with 2 rooms. The service from the online booking to our last taxi ride back was fantastic. Helpful reception, clean rooms, comfortable beds and facilities. Best value for money. With the view of the Eiffel Tower from our window or balcony, just breathtaking! Rooms 205 & 408). I Recommend room 407 for honeymooners. Has a... More

I recently stayed in this hotel for a week and had mixed opinions really. The plus sides are; -A view of the Eifel tower from your room -Metro station across the road, so quite handy if you're planning to explore -Some fantastic restaurants locally -Friendly Staff The downsides; - The bathroom is pretty small - The windows let in quite... The photo on the website doesn't do them justice. Eiffel view is larger, closer, more amazing when you've booked a room in Hotel Splendid. The 7th arrondisement isn't busy as other districts like 6th or 9th, but it doesn't matter, my senior parents (who aren't into much walking) loved the fact that we are so close to Eiffel. I like... Ok it's not the Ritz but it doesn't pretend to be. Other reviewers have commented on some drawbacks. I was surprised at that when I looked at those reviews. We had no problem with staff - they all seemed fine and friendly to us. As to cost, compared to lots of places in the world Paris is a very expensive... More

Located across the street from the subway entrance and a few coffee shops, one block from the Eiffel Tower Park (about a 10 minute walk to the tower), but still a great view of the Tower. Two blocks from a large restaurant area with every type of dinning option. Very old fashioned but clean and reasonable. the rooms are a... More

Amongst all the hotels I have stayed across eight countries in Europe, the accommodation here was by far, the worst. Stayed here for 2 nights in early January, probably having spent my biggest regret in Europe by staying here. First, the positives were its location, friendly receptionist and very polite housekeeping staff. The location is a short stroll to some... More

Dear Madam, We thank you for having chosen our Splendid Eiffel Hotel for your last stay. You apparently have enjoyed our location, the view of the Eiffel, and the service from our staff. Those are evidently our main assets indeed. However, we are as disappointed as you are, learning you did not enjoy your stay with us. We really feel... More

I spent a week at Hotel Splendid Tour Eiffel. I was there for New Years. The hotel is small and clean. Its a 2 minute walk to the Metro and great Cafes. Be sure to have Dinner at La Terrasse. It is also a 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower which you will be able to see from your... More

This was my second time here, I had to go again. The view from the junior suite is amazing and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. They allowed us an early check in, which my fiancè and I were very grateful for. I was engaged while staying here two years prior and I will be coming to this hotel... More

Okay so for the good bits... The hotel itself is in an excellent location. You are within a 2 minute walk of both invalides and the eiffel tower. There are lots of lovely restaurants nearby. The rooms are small... you can expect that from paris. We did have to move rooms as our first one was small, the wallpaper was... More

Great location with view of Eiffel Tower. Even though we had a budget room, we had a clear side view of the tower, which was beautifully lit up at night. Front desk staff was very helpful, informative and made our stay enjoyable. Overall a good value for the price.

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
