This hotel was in a good location. And that is it. Due to the fact that Paris is so easy to get around thanks to the metro, you may as well stay somewhere a bit further away from the centre and get better value for money. Apart from Kong (a great restaurant), it is not even really in a good... More

Great location close to the Louvre, Notre-Dame de Paris, the Sainte Chapelle, and the Seine. Small, but comfortable, adequate room with nice bathroom including bathtub. Our room overlooked rue du Roule, but noise was not a problem. Probably because rue du Roule is a more quiet, one-way street. Great hotel staff. Although I speak French, my spouse does not and... Comfortable room, with en-suite and near to all of the main attractions in Paris, 5 minutes from the Louvre and to some of the best shopping areas. I didn't have breakfast in, but the bar was comfortable for a quick drink and very friendly staff. In room tea and coffee would be my only improvements.

We stayed here for four days and were not impressed. We booked a superior room and got a small, really old room witch was in desperate need of updating! The check in was 30min late because of cleaning, and the room still was dirtyest hotelroom we have ever stayed in. I mean im pretty sure there was blood in the... More

- The location of the hotel is great, it's in Rivoli st (nice one ends with concorde square then Champs Elysee)and near Louvre Museum and Notredam Cathedral, Cleaning is also good....BUT 1- There is an elevator that fits only ONE person (without his luggage) 2- The bathroom in many rooms (we booked three) needs a lot of maintenance espicially tap... My wife got bedbuggs! The safetybox was broken. Nice girl at the reception. Did not manage to serve glutenfree breakfast. The fridge was broken. The hotel is in the heart of Paris and in a walkingdistace to almost everything uou must see.

This was our first time in Paris so we were a bit overwhelmed. Personally I found this hotel to be dark and unsecure. However our quick stop over was a success and I would love to return someday, but probably using a different hotel. We didn't find the staff to be terribly welcoming. To get to our ground level room... More

This hotel is on a great location near metro station and 4 minutes from Louvre. Lots of restaurants and pubs just 5-10 minutes away. That concludes good things about it and the reason why we chose this hotel. Now unpleasantness: 1. Don't trust photos from their official website. I will upload photos from our room. Superior (and more expensive) room... More

we/party of 4 showed up, and were quite jet lagged. my girlfriend had read some negative reviews and we were apprehensive about hotel tonic. we had reserved two deluxe rooms with a single king bed we received one and another with three single beds, in our sleep deprived paranoia we became very concerned. after a nap, voila! we were in... When checking in the hotel had no spare cards for the room. "My card" had probably been used for a couple of months so it was not possible to program. Since the hotel had no spares I ended up getting the master key... Very questionable considering you never know if any other guest with bad intent has a master key... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
