This nice little hotel is conveniently located right near the Louvre and the Ile de la Cite. My family (Mom, Dad and two teenagers) stayed there for a week and loved the location as it is close to the center of town and the tube stations. The room was not huge but very comfortable and it had a small fridge... More

I ended up booking this last minute in the UK with ebookers.com as the trip I had originally planned- Eurostar and different hotel- fell through due to protesters in the tunnel. I went with my 16 yr old daughter. We flew into Charles de Gaulle and got the RER train to Châtelet des Halles. Fairly easy to get tickets and... More

The hotel is small and so are the rooms but clean and staff is helpful and nice. Buffe breakfast is quite expensive but ok (campared with average - I quess). Location is the best thing about the hotel - public transportation veri near and also many (historical) attractions.

Well, we booked a standard room that was on the 4th floor, the lift was incredible small, two average sized people could fit in, I was worried that it could've been trapped in there any minute. As soon as we got in the shock and dissapointment was way too much. I felt robbed after the amount of money Ive paid... More

The location and staff are the feature of hotel. Rooms are not big or new, but bathroom has been renovated, room clean, bed comfortable which is all you want. Only the location was perfect other thing was terrible, because their personal was rude and Friday and Saturday night was so noisy we can not sleep till 4 o'clock. everybody was screaming all night in the street. Everything was old and no-working hair dryer. I never advised, picture's and real was totally different.

Excellent location, near to museums, Notre Dame, shops, etc. Triple room at road level: soundproofing absolutely to be improved but enough space both in room and bathroom. Strange shower in the middle of the bathroom, protected only by tents, that caused lake post-shower and wet floor for abt 1 hour more. No other complains: OK beds, Wi-Fi, safe case, breakfast.... This hotel was in a good location. And that is it. Due to the fact that Paris is so easy to get around thanks to the metro, you may as well stay somewhere a bit further away from the centre and get better value for money. Apart from Kong (a great restaurant), it is not even really in a good... More

Great location close to the Louvre, Notre-Dame de Paris, the Sainte Chapelle, and the Seine. Small, but comfortable, adequate room with nice bathroom including bathtub. Our room overlooked rue du Roule, but noise was not a problem. Probably because rue du Roule is a more quiet, one-way street. Great hotel staff. Although I speak French, my spouse does not and... Comfortable room, with en-suite and near to all of the main attractions in Paris, 5 minutes from the Louvre and to some of the best shopping areas. I didn't have breakfast in, but the bar was comfortable for a quick drink and very friendly staff. In room tea and coffee would be my only improvements.

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
