We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel, the apartment was well equipped for our 3 night stay, the bathroom and kitchen were excellent. We loved the balcony option offered to us upon arrival and the security of electronic key entry to not only the foyer but the lift and then the room, the lift did break down during our... More

Modern apartment block in a nice residential area near Buttes Chaumont park - an oasis in the city. Apartments functionally designed, though bedrooms too small. However, it has started showing signs of wearing out. Larger size apartments too few in number.

I stayed here with my wife and three kids under 10 in an apartment. It was clean and well resourced. It's located near two different metro lines so it's easy to get around Paris. It isn't air conditioned. When we were there the weather was unseasonably poor for the summer, but if it had been hot then the small rooms... More

I would not recommend this hotel to friends or family. It was a comfortable stay but the room and immediate environment was lacking. Pros: comfortable, clean, kitchenette, wireless, easy to reach central Paris (within 10 mins on metro - via 7 min walk to Jordain metro), hotel staff accommodating, supermarket, large park, boulangerie/patisserie and good restaurants nearby (la vieux belleville... Our family of 4 spent five nights here. The hotel is in a residential neighborhood. PROS: The room was clean and in good condition. It had a nice kitchenette. As with most 'non-luxury' European hotels, the rooms are not large. We had 2 twin beds and a futon-style couch with a trundle pull-out. The room was efficiently furnished and even... More

We had a dreadful time at this hotel. We were "upgraded" from a studio to a 1 bedroom - from a larger room to two tiny ones. I could not walk around the bed. There was no room for our suitcases. The kitchenette was tiny but adequate and the small lounge room would have been adequate if I didn't have... More

this is the place for you :) One who was staying there --on the gov't bill, mind you--walked by my 14 year old son and ran his fingers through my son's hair. It was totally weird. The "concierge" explained that this guy was a refugee living at the aparthotel because France welcomes refugees. I understand the kindness of this stance,... More

Hotel is well appointed, rooms fairly large with ok beds and a nice kitchen/living room. Close to 2 metro station Botzaris being my favorite. The areas is residential and the hotel on a pedestrian street (which means you will need to meet taxis at the end of this street) The area can seem a bit creepy in the evening after... More

Good location out of the city center. Quiet except our room was right behind the elevators and we heard a "whooshing" sound every time one went by our floor. Nice to have a small kitchen. We requested twin beds and when we arrived only a queen was available so had to use the day bed but it worked OK. Staff... More

Staying in Belleville / Pere Lachaise

Neighborhood Profile
Belleville / Pere Lachaise
At the eastern edge of Paris lies Belleville / Père Lachaise, an understated wonderland of local treasures. Alongside the world-famous cemetery, family-owned delicatessens and cafés nestle between local stores and establishments. The richness of the population here has created a little Chinatown of Asian restaurants, and the area comes to life at night by a funky underground scene. Façades change from one street to another as one passes from white walled provincial homes to tall blocks and reconverted homes. The whole area is an inspirational mix of people from all corners of the world frequented by artists, students, immigrants, and Parisian families. Once home to supporters of the Paris commune, its rebellious nature is now offset by its rural charms.
