Found hotel to be comfortable and close to metro and buses, basic but comfortable rooms, found it weird that no toaster with self contained apartment but maybe that's just an Aussie thing. Some small maintenance issues the cupboard in the hallway didn't shut properly and there were a couple of tiles in the main bathroom not in properly but overall... More

Anyone traveling to Paris with a family must stay at this hotel. The hotel is located in a charming neighborhood with easy access to two underground train stations as well as wonderful local cafes, bakeries, and restaurants. I have three children-two teens and the apartment was so spacious with two bedrooms, a pullout sofa, and two and half baths. The... More

The aim was a family stay... You have all the facilities ok, but that's it. Clean, correct, but all is "JUSTE" as they call it in France, nothing appealing, nothing attractive hotel (aparthotel wise). Breakfast is extremely "poor" for the price paid. The only plus is the location... Very well placed according to subway stations, and one of the big... More

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel, the apartment was well equipped for our 3 night stay, the bathroom and kitchen were excellent. We loved the balcony option offered to us upon arrival and the security of electronic key entry to not only the foyer but the lift and then the room, the lift did break down during our... More

Modern apartment block in a nice residential area near Buttes Chaumont park - an oasis in the city. Apartments functionally designed, though bedrooms too small. However, it has started showing signs of wearing out. Larger size apartments too few in number.

I stayed here with my wife and three kids under 10 in an apartment. It was clean and well resourced. It's located near two different metro lines so it's easy to get around Paris. It isn't air conditioned. When we were there the weather was unseasonably poor for the summer, but if it had been hot then the small rooms... More

I would not recommend this hotel to friends or family. It was a comfortable stay but the room and immediate environment was lacking. Pros: comfortable, clean, kitchenette, wireless, easy to reach central Paris (within 10 mins on metro - via 7 min walk to Jordain metro), hotel staff accommodating, supermarket, large park, boulangerie/patisserie and good restaurants nearby (la vieux belleville... Staying in Belleville / Pere Lachaise

Neighborhood Profile
Belleville / Pere Lachaise
At the eastern edge of Paris lies Belleville / Père Lachaise, an understated wonderland of local treasures. Alongside the world-famous cemetery, family-owned delicatessens and cafés nestle between local stores and establishments. The richness of the population here has created a little Chinatown of Asian restaurants, and the area comes to life at night by a funky underground scene. Façades change from one street to another as one passes from white walled provincial homes to tall blocks and reconverted homes. The whole area is an inspirational mix of people from all corners of the world frequented by artists, students, immigrants, and Parisian families. Once home to supporters of the Paris commune, its rebellious nature is now offset by its rural charms.
