Great location if you're traveling with your pet(s). Right next to Buttes Chaumont park with lots of grassy areas and paths to exercise the dogs. It is also close to two different metro lines so easy to get back here during the day. Staff are very nice and the rooms are spacious and the kitchen well furnished with coffee pot,... More

We recently returned from staying in these apartments and they were superb. Rooms were very clean, with plenty of space for four. Location is quiet with very easy access to Paris Centre from Botzaris or Pyrenees Metro. If you need a taxi too and from the airport would recommend Prestige transfers for service and price. All in all - brilliant.

Booked a fully flexible rate online mid-Sept 2015 for a stay Sept 2016. I always use a debit Visa that is not connected to our bank (to prevent theft) to book hotels that require a credit card guarantee. We've used this card for years to reserve hotel rooms and usually don't keep money on it (only add funds as needed... More

Stayed for 1 week in September, A bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews, so I came prepared. We got there Sunday about PM, I wanted a room with a balcony we could sit on, towards the back of the hotel, and with a good internet connection. We got it all from the wonderful man at reception. The room... More

We have just arrived home from a 4 night stay at the Adagio aparthotel in Buttes Chaumont Paris. This was a good base to stay with a family to visit paris. The apartment itself was clean with a small kitchen area, lounge with bed settee and balcony, a double bedroom, a singe bedroom, 2 bathrooms (without toilets) and 1 toilet.... More

Spent a week with family (two adults + three kids). It was an average experience but after all this is what you can expect given the price range. It is an affordable, convenient solution if you travel with kids. The kitchenette is reasonably equipped and turned out to be very useful to make dinner when the kids were exhausted because... More

The location is very nice, the staff was friendly, and the rooms were nice, very Parisian, it's gated so it gives you that exclusive feeling(pros and cons to that) and the fully equipped kitchen was very helpful for my month and a half long vacation. Additionally, it's down the street from a supermarket and near restaurants, a BEAUTIFUL park and... More

Looking for an affordable, apartment setting for 7 people, no stairs and 2 bathrooms in Paris was a real challenge. Our stay here really fit our need sand introduced us to a great location we never would have visited. The immediate street lacks that "Paris" look, and is a little challenging to get bags in since no cars are allowed,... More

Staying in Belleville / Pere Lachaise

Neighborhood Profile
Belleville / Pere Lachaise
At the eastern edge of Paris lies Belleville / Père Lachaise, an understated wonderland of local treasures. Alongside the world-famous cemetery, family-owned delicatessens and cafés nestle between local stores and establishments. The richness of the population here has created a little Chinatown of Asian restaurants, and the area comes to life at night by a funky underground scene. Façades change from one street to another as one passes from white walled provincial homes to tall blocks and reconverted homes. The whole area is an inspirational mix of people from all corners of the world frequented by artists, students, immigrants, and Parisian families. Once home to supporters of the Paris commune, its rebellious nature is now offset by its rural charms.
