Cute little hotel near the Folie Bergeres. We had a lovely little room on the top floor with two balcony windows. The room was very small but had everything that we needed. The room and bathroom were very clean and modern. The hotel's location is fantastic as it is within easy reach of the sites either by the Metro or... More

Second stay here, still good, friendly and helpful. The hotel is minutes away from the Gard Du Nord, so very convenient for the Eurostar and the Metro, the rooms are a little small but comfortable and clean with a nice bed, we had the breakfast that was included with the price, it was OK but lacking in a few areas,... We stayed 2 nights at Mercure lafayette. Though we asked room cleaning, even coffees and teas were not filled. Moreover, I cannot forget unpleasant attention of receptionist. She told her colleague with glance of us. It reminded me of a kind of racial discrimination!! The worst is the request of payment that mentioned as Platinum membership benefit at check in.... More

The hotel is well located. Smiling staff. Nevertheless to much "but": Room service very weak too much expensive. In reality it is an external catering. It does nt make sense to orther anything Air conditionning? It seems to be a button in the wall but when you try to decrease the temperature it doesn t make anything. You cook as... More

Bonjour Carlos, Thank you for your message. We went through extreme weather and we regret that the air conditioning was not able to ease the scorching heat. Please excuse us. Regards. Gregory Coatanea More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
