Fourty years ago I stayed in this hotel and the experience was wonderful. It was like sleeping in the set of La Boheme - the opera. At that time it was a hotel recommended by Air Canada and quite frankly deserved that recommendation and backing. For years now I have used TripAdvisor as my traveling bible. So on our trip... More

We were booked into this hotel on our last night in Paris on business, and I've got to say this is probably the worst hotel I've ever had the pleasure of staying in, in all my years of travelling! We were in room 12 first floor, twin room, on entering room the smell was bad like someone had been in... More

I stayed for 2 nights in this hotel with my husband and parents in-law. The wifi was very poor, the receptionist said that it was only available at the hotel lobby, which is very small and uncomfortable.. Reception lady was unfriendly at day 1 as well as the breakfast lady, but she turned out to be very helpful when we... More

We got "upgraded" to this hotel after a disaster with our reservation at another hotel. We stayed in room 23 which was on the 2nd floor. Luckily they had a small but useful lift for our suitcases as the stairs were very steep and curly. The door wouldn't open fully as the bed was in the way. The room was... More

Over all, the stay was very nice. The lady that worked the breakfast was very unfriendly & unhelpful. When I went down there, there were maybe 5 people in the dining area & only one clean glass. The croissants were good; I suggest taking some lunch meat so that you can make a sandwich with it. Also, there is no... More

This hotel is in a great position just off the Champs Elysees and has many lovely cafe bars within a few minutes walk. The hotel reception, breakfast room and bedroom were Ok and what you would expect for a 3* hotel but the bathroom was awful with mouldy walls, a large hole in the side of the bath and plastic... Unfortunately, I could not find another place to stay near my office, during Paris fashion week, but, when i saw the pictures on the website, they looked ok and pleasant enough. The price of 200+ Euros was, after my finds, a ridiculous and totally un justified price to pay for such a total disaster of a place. The room smelled... More

This place should be removed from ANY listing! 1990 TV that didn't work, no hot water, stains everywhere, see photo I could go on and on but seeing is believing. The guy behind the counter felt so bad about us staying there he helped find another hotel!

Very good position, close to two metro stop and in proximity to Champs Elysees. Room was very poor in furniture, the bathroom was dirty and after we complained to the lady at the reception nothing happened until next morning. The blanket was dirty too. Only French channels available on TV. Staff seem to hardly stand the presence of guests. Minimum... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
