We arrived at this hotel for the second time, before lived there 9 years ago on a trip through a travel agency. Who decided to choose it again because conveniently located, and a small number will be in all the hotels in the center for the same price. We booked through the hotel website a room for three people with... More

On our recent holiday this is the one hotel we didnt book ourselves, Flight Centre booked it for us. We arrived in Paris near lunchtime after our long flight from Perth. We were told our room wasnt ready, which is fair enough, so we stored our luggage & headed across the road for some lunch. We returned couple hours later... More

We enjoyed our stay with your hotel. Unfortunately we had our money stolen while in Paris but found staff were friendly and helpful with our problem. Only thing was we had Australian money but couldn't cash it in anywhere except Western Union!!! The hotel arranged for us to be taken to Western Union so all worked out in the end.

Spent 6 nights in this hotel in May 2015 on a solo trip to Paris. Great location. Easy walk to Eurostar train station with heavy suitcase and Opera is just up the road too.I enjoyed breakfast which was continental and typically European. My only complaint is the very tiny size of the shower in my room. Reception staff were always... More

We stayed at the Hotel Opera Lafayette in May 2015. It was our first time in Paris ad we only stayed for a few days due to our itinerary. The hotel was kept clean and tidy and the staff were very willing to help when we approached them with questions. We were concerned about not being able to speak French,... More

This hotel was tidy and clean and that's about all. We stayed 3 days and not once was our room serviced as it should have been. Room was hot and stuffy but couldn't open the windows for the noise if the traffic... We also felt that when we asked staff a question they weren't helpful at all in fact we... More

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon. The only good thing was the location, being close to the train station. The room was outdated and so small, no where to put luggage. The shower was so small you can touch the walls by standing upright under the water. Disappointed. Staff were unfriendly and did not speak English.

I've visited the hotel many times in the past 20 years and have seen it change quite a lot in that time. The hotel is approx. 15 minutes walk (with suitcases) from the Gare Du Nord and 3 minutes from the nearest Metro (Cadet) so it is a good base to travel around the city. There are a number of... Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
