I stayed there for 2 nights and first time in Paris. A great location with two metro nearby. Front desk were very friendly and helpful. Wifi was great too. Will definitely recommend to friends and will stay there again for my next visit.

The Hotel is most of a lovely and typical Paris building. It looks the part. If you are lucky you will get a small balcony. It was undergoing some refurbishments while we were there but they did not get in the way, it should be spruced up by now. The interior is somewhat dated and compact but of course it's... More

The hotel is clean, conveniently located. My room was rather small, yet well arranged -even had a balcony with coffee table - and very reasonably priced. Will not consider staying anywhere else under the same traveling conditions.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days recently while traveling with my family in a quad room on the 4th floor. Be ready for something different. The hotel has the smallest elevator I've ever seen (2 person Max) maybe 3 feet by four feet but it got the luggage to our floor. If you want to walk it has... More

Hotel Odessa offers good plain accommodation at an attractive price. Our room was clean and newly redecorated. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. The location is close to Gare Montparnasse with extensive Metro and bus services, and many restaurants nearby. On the minus side, our room experienced some noise at night, there was a bath, but no shower, and the... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it was nice, I think. When we arrived our room wasn't ready so we had to go for a walk for about an hour and it was raining so we were not happy at hall. The room was a bit old and small. Overall it was a good price/quality.

Our first trip to Paris, on the BIg Trip, and traveling to 6 countries in 6 weeks by Very Fast Train. But just can't wait to get back and when I do I'll definitely head straight back to this hotel! A stone's throw from a Edgar Quinet Paris Metro station entrance as well as Gare Montparnasse international train station, this... More

On our way from Orly Airport to Montparnasse station we wanted a one night stop. This hotel was located perfectly, since the RER & metro from the airport allowed few shifts. The hotel is in walking distance from the Montparnasse station. Room is very small, but clean. No breakfast room, but a nice bakery 50 m up the street.

I've been to Paris for the weekend and choose this hotel. Good room, with everithing essential, clean and comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is extra on request. Average wifi in the rooms because access point is locate near the elevators. Very good location, excellent transport conections to all parts of Paris and airports, plenty of restaurants around. We (my partner and I) came to Paris on a budget which involved travelling from London and back by bus and finding special offers to Disneyland. Similarly, we waited for a last minute deal for a hotel and paid a good price for three nights so wasn't expecting anything extravagant. The hotel was just right for what we paid. Good,... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
