The hotel was very good value for money for us as we got a very good deal. The location is perfect especially if you want quick access to the Latin quarter and to the musee d'orsay, which is what we wanted. We were in town essentially for the the exhibition of Pierre Bonnard's paintings in the musee. The service was... More

Good rooms with very clean bath and enough space for all. Good location. Really close to the metro just 100m from Cluny la Sorbonne metro station and close to restaurants and to all the main monuments. The room we had was recently renovated. Staff was very helpful. This hotel has a good balance between quality and money.

Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your compliments. Located in the heart of an historic district, it combines the charm of the Latin Quarter (a quiet scholarly and bohemia atmosphere), with that of Saint-Germain des Pres (nightlife, restaurants, shopping in the boutiques Rive Gauche). This makes easy to walk to the main great attractions or the metro station of... More

This hotel, our favorite for many years now, even takes dogs! We adopted a dog this past year and forgot how convenient and how friendly this hotel is towards our little 4-legged creature! This was the case 7+ years ago with our first dog. I have to add that thanks to the great atmosphere we see most of the same... More

We stayed for 5 nights using a combination of reward points and cash. This hotel is in a fantastic location in the heart of the latin quarter. The buzz of Paris is on your doorstep, yet the hotel is quiet and peaceful for a restful nights sleep. The hotel is on the doorstep of the Sorbonne. Metro 50 metres away.... More

Excellent hotel!!!! We arrived at 6:30am extremely tired and jet lag. Was so happy when we showed up at 7am and only had to wait 45mins for our room to be ready instead of waiting till 3pm! Great location next to Notre Dame. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but that's typical of Paris. The room, bathroom and hotel in general were clean and in good order. The room was small but usually is in Paris. Nice place to visit paris.

Hotel was fine, location good ,close to metro and walking distance to lots of sites and restaurants. Bathroom had a funky odour which permeated the room, mouldy. Told front desk and fell on deaf ears. Am a Club Accors member and didn't receive any perks. Internet reception terrible.

The hotel is an old haussmanian building and well renovated. We requested for an early check-in, it was approved, we request for a late check-out, it was approved also, even on a off season time, some hotel would not have approved it. The reception personnel were very helpful in advice on what to do in the city. Breakfast was good.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
