We stayed three nights and were checked at midday by a very helpful multi lingual receptionist who offered advice on everything you need to know about Paris. This was about standard for a Mercure. I found the front desk staff very helpful. I booked two rooms with a travel agent discount for about 100 euros each. The rooms are small, but average for Paris.
