My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon in Paris and we stayed at Les Rives De Notre Dame for 6 days. Everything went seamlessly at check-in in our room was just as we wanted it. The staff at the front desk were all courteous as well as well-informed about where to dine locally. At one point, because I was... More

This little hotel is always a pleasure to stay at. It is immaculately clean, perfectly positioned (within sight of Notredame) and the staff are polite and efficient. I have returned many times both as a single traveller and also with my teenage daughters and would have no hesitation in recommending it highly. Having said that, such recommendations are of course... More

I have been to Paris before and this is the best place I've stayed. We stayed on the second floor with an outlook to the river. The location is excellent as resturants of different cultures are less the 25m away. I wouldn't bother with breakfast when there are so many cafes to go to, you're in Paris after all! One... More

This hotel was in an excellent location - overlooking Notre Dame and a nice walk to the latin quarter. The rooms were very small by American standards with hardly enough room to put two suitcases, but that may be common in Paris. On the upside, the room was very clean with a nice bathroom. The breakfast is expensive (14 euros)... More

This hotel is a surprise: outside doesn't look as a beautiful place but inside it's fantastic! We have tried a lot of hotels in Paris (we love Paris and this is our 9th trip there) but it isn't easy to find hotel with large rooms in the city center. However, this hotel has large rooms (for the Paris-standard) and a... More

We spent six nights in March when the city was not busy and got a good deal here. There is only 9 or 10 rooms and every room faces Notre Dame and our room on the 4th floor looked over the river. The rooms are small but normal for this section of Paris and nicely furnished with strong recessed lighting... More

When we decided to return to Paris this year, I did a bit of research on other properties and decided to stay here again. We booked directly on the internet and requested the same room we had two years ago. On returning, we found the hotel and the management to be as charming as ever. The managers, Christian and Daniele,... More

I stayed in the Rives De Notre Dame for a one-night stay in March of 2008. It was a rare 'splurge' for me, as I usually go pretty basic when travelling alone, saving the big-ticket hotels for when Paige is with me. But I had never stayed in Paris, and seeing the location and views advertised from this hotel, I... More

Stayed one night September 23. Perfect location for getting from CDG on the RER. Off at St. Michel, then about 3 bolcks. Looks out toward the Seine, with some view of Notre Dame. Small, but charming room. We were on the second floor, and we thought it was noisy. Paid around $400 for the night--I think there are better values,... More

This location was fantastic. We were in Room 5 and you can see the Notre Dame from the two windows that look down upon the street. Our room was so quiet which was surprising due to the busy street outside the window. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We did not choose to do breakfast. We were only there... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
