Stayed with group of 5 people for 3 nights. First of all perfect location, beautiful old building with lots of history and last and most important is excellent service. Extremely helpful everyone, specially Dino!!! Lovely young man, very professional friendly, highly intelligent, great pleasure to meet him. Stayed by myself for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. It's exactly where you want to be and even though it's located right next to a busy street, the noise is almost non-existent, however the view is mindblowing at day or night. Busy parisien life is just around every corner and the staff was excellent, especially Dino and Serge. I... More

Had a lovely four night stay in this small hotel. Perfect location within walking distance of the main attractions, also right next door to the RER. Our room had a great view of the Seine and Notre Dame. Nice sized room with en suite and ample storage, think French and rustic not polished American!! Friendly staff. Never ate in the... More

Perfect location. Only ten rooms and we had room 9. Arrived and pushed open the window to a full on view of Notre Dame and the Quai Saint Michel. Right on the RER with a lift down to the platform next door. Friendly and helpful reception staff. NIce room with a small bathroom which was well equipped and plenty of... More

The Hotel Les Rives de Notre Dame is on Quai Saint Michel right on the banks of the Seine. We have stayed at this hotel before, in room 2, which we requested again. We were too early for check in so we left our bags in the cupboard at reception and went in search of lunch. We just love this... More

I have stayed here several times when in Paris. The location on the left bank is perfect because after an entire day exploring this part of the city you can easily walk back to your hotel. The rooms are not large, but for Parisien standards, they are fine. An elevator means you don't have to climb stairs with your bags... More

We got back yesterday afternoon after 4 nights in this superbly located hotel and can't wait to book again. Literally just over the Seine, across Pont Citie, on Rue Saint Michel, our room overlooked the river and Notre Dame. The Hotel doesn't look much from the outside, but the minute you walk into reception and meet the staff the place... More

As refugees from a terrible so-called five star hotel near the Arc de Triomphe (bad plumbing, worse service, vanishing property etc) we came to this wonderful place. Opening the window presented the very view that the official website shows. I get sick of amorphous hotel rooms that all resemble each other. This one has character in spades and breathes history;... This hotel has a complete package, without being ostentatious. Location is superb for anyone wanting to enjoy the Latin Quarter, Museums, Luxembourg Gardens, the food scene, or just gwtting lost and meandering aimlessly about. Rooms are well appointed and maintained. The professional staff is very helpful and genuinely interested in the guest. The modest size of the property is a... More

This is a wonderful hotel which I recommend and would definitely stay in again. The décor is beautiful, the room and hotel are really clean and the service from the staff is excellent. Staff all speak English/understand slow French and are extremely helpful and friendly, ready to provide advice as to where to eat, transport routes etc The room facilities... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
