What a beautiful hotel this was. The room was large, particularly for Paris with a bath and shower. Very tasteful decoration and bedding. Good sound proofing from the traffic noise and a fabulous location and view of Notre Dame. Very easy access to RER B and restaurants in the Latin Quarter. Staff are very friendly and more than happy to... More

You can already see that this hotel has an amazing location and view, but that's only the start. It's clean, safe, has great air conditioning for warm nights (we were there in a heat wave and the AC went as cool as we could want), old-world charm with an elevator, updated amenities, windows that quelled all but the loudest sirens,... We returned to Rives de Notre Dame again after a few years and it is still over the top. We had a booking problem (entirely my fault) and the way they worked to make it perfect for us could not have been handled better. We were there for almost three weeks and look forward to returning as soon as possible.... More

Everything about Les Rives de Notre Dame is wonderful. I emailed Dino ahead of our stay and he replied very quickly and sorted our stay out form 14th -16th July. When we arrived we were thrilled to be upgraded tot he penthouse suite to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. from the minute we arrived, nothing was too much trouble, and... More

The entire staff was happy! Professional and helpful in every detail. We appreciated the comfort of the room -and the VIEW- so amazing! We felt like we were at the center of everything beautiful and wonderful in the city- with immediate access to go in any direction. Taner even arranged an appointment for me at a local hair salon to... More

Perfect location. Very nice staff. In front of the metro. Wonderful view of the Notre Dame, which is 3 minutes walking. Perfect neighborhood, with lots of all types of restaurants (pastas, foundues, international cousine, etc)

This small hotel combines the perfect location (Seine, Notre Dame, Metro, RER) with nice, friendly and professional people seeming genuinely interested in making your stay pleasant. It has the best hotel app I have ever seen - with restaurant recommendations, maps, sightseeing tips etc. The rustic decor was just to our taste. Hansen, Copenhagen

Loved the coziness of this small hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful. The location was incredible! We could walk to many landmarks and also walked to many fabulous, different restaurants, that were recommended by the hotel staff. They also offered a great breakfast buffet in their hotel basement cafe for a nominal fee.

The location is perfect, but never mind the hotel. Like most Paris hotels, it is over priced. Rooms are spacious and everything is there, but furniture is cheap and old. There is a breakfast option (not included in the price), but friendly staff did not recommend it ('you probably find better options elsewhere...') and we thought we better follow this... More

Many, many positives! The view: Our room had a view of Notre Dame, which to my mind is the iconic Paris view (I'll take Notre Dame any day over the Eiffel Tower). The service: It could not have been better. When we first arrived I was unhappy with how warm our room was and our inability to adjust the temperature.... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
