I enjoyed my weekend stay at the Grand hotel des Gobelins. Its greatest advantage (as most reviews have mentioned) is that it is a short walk to two Metro stations - Saint Marcel and Les Gobelins. This is especially handy if you aren't using a car to go around the city as I did. The hotel itself is quaint and... More

From checkin to checkout the hotel staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. The rooms were very clean and towels changed daily. If you are a light sleeper opt for a room at the back of the hotel due to traffic noise and sirens regularly hailing. The continental breakfast was enough to set you up for the day's sightseeing. My only... More

Nice Hotel in a great location, a nearby small supermarket, bistros and nice restaurants. The room was clean with a very nice large bathroom, bedroom was reasonable size. A good buffet breakfast with a good selection of cheese, bread and jams. Overall its a very good choice for the price and the location.

I bought an offer and this was the hotel coming with the trip... Do not much of a choice for me ... But for the price is not so bad ... The location is probably one of the good points , but the room is very small, not space even to leave a small luggage ... I've asked for a... More

The hotel fell short of our expectations, not least as we had read previous reviews and expected a bit more. The location is reasonable and the hotel is clean. The bathrooms were recently redone. It is though a tired, modest hotel that has seen better days. We stayed one night in Jan. 2015. We were given one of the larger... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 6 nights in July 2014, the hotel is in a great location and the room was fairly small but perfectly comfortable and clean. We had a room on the top floor, which was nice and quiet and the air conditioning was very welcome in the hot July temperatures. The hotel staff were very... More

Although the rooms are small by North American standards, they are comfortable and adequate. You are not going to Paris to spend time in a hotel . It is a few short blocks to the tour busses and the Metro. The staf were accomodating and polite. Rooms were always clean as was the property. This is a value hotel in... More

We stayed in December 2014 for a couple of nights. It was pretty cold outside but our room was really warm and cosy. It was room no. 10 on the first floor - not massive but not tiny either and with a modern bathroom and separate toilet. All nice and clean. Even though it was located on the street side... More

As all the other reviewers say this is a lovely little hotel in a nice part of Paris. A quiet-ish but not dead area not a million miles away from the Latin quarter and its many bars and restaurants. This hotell is clean and tidy as are the rooms. The bathroom has a fantastic shower(it was powerful), the bed was... More

We thought this hotel was good value in a good area within a short distance of the Des Gobelins Metro. The room was quiet, clean with a nice view to the street at the rear. Breakfast was included. It was adequate. The lift is located at the top of 8 stairs off the reception which was a bit weird ,... More
