Enjoyed our stay at this hotel in the heart of Paris' artist enclave. Breakfast was excellent. Love the location as well overlooking a park with views of the cathedral. Rooms give you everything you need--clean with private baths. Not fancy but quite enjoyable.

This is second time at this hotel. Nothing fancy at very reasonable price. Directly off the metro #12 line which takes you to all the major sites in Paris. Clean room and bathroom with very good restaurant attached. Two blocks from Sacre Couer cathedral. Walls a bit thin, so you do hear traffic

What a fun hotel this is. Every room is different and very colourful. Every design is unique. It makes this hotel one of a kind and a very pleasant basecamp for all kinds of trips. Why not a 5 star review for this 2 star hotel? If only the staff would smile... They are not bad at all but a... More

We stayed here for 2 days & found this hotel to be an excellent base for sightseeing in Montmartre & Paris in general- the Metro is located at the side of the hotel (& you can't hear the trains either!). If you wish to get the feel of the 'arty side' of Montmartre then this hotel is the place to... More

We stayed in October 3 days with 8 people (4 rooms). It is a basic hotel, yes, but with a heart and a soul. And you have everything you need: a great staff (we had some good laughs!), a good bed, nice hot shower, a view, excellent wifi and even a minibar. Warmly and a bit artistic decorated. Located on... Whenever I travel to Paris I try to stay in a European style hotel. I adds dimension to the overseas travel experience. I have stayed at Hotel Roma several times and have nothing but a wonderful time. The room featured a balcony overlooking the streets and sidewalk cafes of Paris and a tub large enough for me (adult)! The staff... More

My wife and I stayed here as American tourists. This is an affordable hotel in the wonderful, scenic neighborhood of Montmartre. The on-site restaurant is a beautiful sidewalk cafe with good food and good service. The small hotel has 7 floors, but each floor has only a few rooms. Some of the rooms have nice long-distance views, including our room... More

This hotel was located in Montmartre, which became one of my favorite areas in Paris. We stayed for 6 nights. The hotel itself was certainly nothing fancy, this is strictly a budget hotel. The room was small and always smelled musty, but opening the windows helped keep fresh air in. The housekeepers started cleaning early in the morning each day,... More

My boyfriend and I spent four nights at Hotel Roma Sacre Coeur. The hotel itself if very colorful and full of fun art and decorations. Our room was small, but we had plenty of room to move around, and it was extremely clean. There was a safe which is definitely a huge plus for Paris. We also had an amazing... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
