great location, eight minutes from champs elysees from pernerty metro, (unless my husband is reading the map) great hotel, clean room, helpful and friendly staff, lots of cafes, bars, shops in walking distance, would definitely recommend and would definitely go back!

A few days ago, we spent four nights at this particular "gem" in Paris. The hotel is perfectly located in the Montparnasse neighborhood, very close to the Alesia and Pernety metro stops, and to our point of arrival, Gare de Montparnasse. It was particularly nice that on our arrival, the room was ready at a relatively early hour. The staff,... More

Located in a quiet neighborhood just about 5 minutes walk from the Alesia metro, which we frequently used to get around town. Felt safe walking the streets around the hotel at night. Room were a bit small for staying 6 nights in, so if you're staying longer than a weekend I'd recommend you to book one of the larger rooms... More

We was in hotel Ariane since 10 till 13 of April. The room and bathroomw was very small. In the photos tjey are looking bigger. Very good bed linen and plumbing. The service is not good: staff cleaned room badly, forgot to bring towel every single day. But,thank so much for kindness and helpful to reception specialists.

Despite I've choosen this hotel based on the rating for family with children, it turned out to be a nightmare. Incredibly small - barely impossible to fit the stroller in the elevator, and we were given the 4th floor. No room for stroller also in the breakfast room. We had to change diapers in the shower floor. With a baby... More

We had a very pleasant stay here - the staff were very friendly and helpful and the wifi was very good. However having breakfast in a cramped underground room did let this place down. I recommend here - close to a couple of shops, very easy access to Paris and close to the montparmasse tower! However be warned: NO SOUND... More

Hotel looks better in pictures than it does in person but it wasn't a bad experience. I would stay there again. The staff was helpful. Wifi was just okay. Close to multiple metro lines. Decent local restaurants nearby.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
