After two days travelling (due to Eurostar tunnel closure) we were very pleased that we had not been charged for our original 1st night (staff contacted us the day before presumably to give our room away). We had been notified prior that the lifts were not working and placed on 1st floor, staff were more than willing to carry bags... More

We stayed for two nights at this Ibis. I consider it standard, complete with the comfortable Ibis bed we love and clean decor. Upon arrival, the staff asked if we wanted a room streetside or garden side. We were indecisive, and they suggested street for the view. It was quite loud, and we were glad we had held onto our... Ibis standard hotel. Not very luxurious but clean. Small rooms, but when you are travelling on a budget, works fine. The hotel is close to the station, good cafes around. We used to walk all day sightseeing in Paris, would return tired by around 4 pm. Have a nap and then walk back to see the Eiffel tower at night... More

Had the great pleasure of staying here in September. Rooms and lobby are clean and nicely decorated. Within walking distance of restaurants and train station. The staff were so helpful, directions, helping us find lost luggage and the whole time looking after other patrons. This is not hotel if you need fancy but it has lovely street views . Stay... More

In most places back home this portion of a building would be a store room, Ibis has converted this triangular chubby hole into a comfortable room. Used to form filing and giving copies of documents to “check-in” in India, here is was a breeze. “Yes, you are booked, here is your key, Sir. You need your key to enter the... More

Loved the very modern, clean room at top of hotel with veranda and view. Didn’t realize they don’t have coffee making facilities in hotels but not a problem. Bathroom clean and hot water and lovely comfortable bed. Great continental breakfast in the morning with plenty of variety and best coffee I think from a vending machine I have ever tasted.... More

I have stayed at this hotel previously and I decided to stay there again, given the close proximity to Gare de Lyon and the Paris Metro. The hotel is of standard Ibis quality and arrangement, although rooms may appear small and tight. Otherwise, the rooms were cleaned daily and everything worked as expected. A friend had a problem with the... More

Well situated, clean and that's it. Room and bathroom very small. The housekeeping woman not friendly at all when we had to use our room while she wanted to clean it and had to wait. You pay for a room but have to put 2 or 4 euros in a safe to have your lugage kept it's ready when you... More

Staying in Bercy / Nation

Neighborhood Profile
Bercy / Nation
Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to this calming neighborhood where real Parisians make their homes.
