OK - two complaints first - sometimes the response to emails comes slowly and make sure when they tell you where the driver will pick you up from the airport, they are SPECIFIC! Other than that, I loved, loved, loved this hotel - small rooms, but it is Paris - the staff is lovely, you wake to the smell of... more

After booking this hotel after lots of research online, this hotel seemed to be perfect for our budget and requirements. It also had good reviews. However, after arriving at the hotel will we meat by a surely and obviously uninterested receptionist, who seemed most annoyed that we interrupted her phone call . We checked in and were allocated room 41.... more

Dear Sir, Dear Madam, Thank you for taking time to write your comment. First of all, I'm very sorry for the inconvenient encountered during your stay. I'm very surprised to read that you felt that the receptionist was uninterested. All the staff work here for a long time and it's the first time I read that. The others comments can...

I was told that hotels in Paris are generally average. De Banville was excellent in every respect! The receptionists were very friendly and all of them could speak English fluently. The other staff were polite and discreet. The room was very stylish and elegant (see photos although rooms differ from one another), nice bed, good TV set and powerful air... more

We stayed here after staying in several "boutique" hotels in Paris over a two week period... we booked in 3 different sections of the city to ensure we saw Paris. The Banville was, by far, the best 4* hotel that we stayed at. The staff, esp. Eric and Emmanuelle, were extremely friendly, and the rooms were spacious with unparalleled views... more

When reading other reviews of this hotel I was a little concerned at the one or two negative reviews that it had received. I needn't have worried. We were in Paris for a romantic weekend without the children and this hotel was perfect. Charming inside and out, the reception was warm and welcoming and the staff excellent. Our room was... more

We stayed here for the 2nd leg of our honeymoon and chose the hotel on the back of some great reviews on trip adviser. The hotel really was better than we expected, and the small balcony and view of the eiffel tower from our room (the Amelie room) was so fantastic, especially at night when the eiffel tower was brilliantly... more

Stayed here during our last night of a two-week vacation in Paris/south of France. Room was clean and recently renovated. Bathroom was a little cramped - toilet was set right against the towel warmer, which would force one to sit sideways. Shower stall was small and allowed for water to splash on to tile outside easily. Front desk was very... more

Dear Sir, Dear Madam, Many thanks for taking time to write your comment. As you know, in Paris, the rooms are not so large. Please do not hesitate to ask the front desk when you don't feel good in one of our rooms. They would have moved you to another room. All our rooms are different and I'm sure they...

Me and my now fiancee stayed here during the first weekend in May 2009. From the beginning the staff was amazing. Florence and Alexandra spent the 2 weeks prior to our trip helping me to arrange restaurant reservations, transportation, and virtually anything else I could ask for. Once in Paris, we took the metro to the hotel which was simple.... more
