The hotel itself is located wonderfully. The rooms have a number of charming parisian features however this is let down by the cleanliness of the room, which is not at all up to standard. The television is mainly french speaking channels with very bad reception. Otherwise the hotel is within walking distance of all the main attractions from the Louvre... more

I'll start with the good things: The location is great (see other reviews), very near to the metro (Porte Maillot and Argentine) or Arc de Triomphe. The staff is really friendly. I had contact to the front desk manager, other concierges and the "night guy" and all were really nice and helpful! Check-in and Check-out were very easy without unpleasant... more

We had some trouble with our stay at the Palma Hotel near the Gambetta Metro Stop in Paris. Apart from a very smokey room (the kind where you sit on the bed and are immediately blanketed in that delightfully disgusting stale tobacco aroma), we were charged additional fees due to having booked online. We checked out 4 days earlier than... more

The night guy was the rudest guy I have ever met. He literally tried to start a fist fight because we had a friend come over before going out. When we called the police, he pretended he spoke no english at all. Never stay here, this is the worst hotel.. stay at the best western down the street if you... more

We got a wonderful deal on this hotel via Expedia. For 100 U.S. dollars per night in Europe, your options of course are quite limited nowadays. So this was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is a 5 min. walk away from the main metro route to the heart of the city. Our room was bigger than expected with a newly... more

My mom and I stayed Hotel Palma for 4 nights. Location was good. 5 mins walk to Algentine metro station (unfortunately, it's been closed when we stayed), 10mins walk to Charles de Gaulle Etoi and Arc de Triomphe. 5min from Porte Maillot Air France Bus stop, but it's bit hard to find for the first time, so it's better to... more

I read the reviews above and after I came back I must say they are correct. Me and my wife we take our parents and everyone was pleased with the hotel, we definitely return. Location: 100 metres from Porte Maillot (bus, metro station). There you can also use the Airfrance cars that came and go from both airports to Porte... more

Choice of 230 Euro convention hotel or 60 Euro weekend 95 Euro weekday rate at Palma. No choice Palma great for the price. Small single room but very clean with new bath. Wonderful Paris sidewalk cafes within easy walking distance. No tourists in the area. Close to Metro and busses. Would stay there again when I return to Paris. more

It was a pleasant surprise. We visited this hotel in 2000. We booked it because of the location and price, very cheap. We were really scared when we got there but It was like stepping into someones house. Tiny elevator and tiny everything, but really clean and friendly people. Our room had a balcony with lovely flowers hanging from it... more
