I was traveling with my adult son & we were looking for something modestly priced (aka cheap) that was close to the metro. There is no parking by the hotel entrance but they do have a lot close by so best to drop someone off with the luggage & let them check it. Entrance were small but charming. We had... More

We stayed at this hotel as it was near to where our kids were performing at a jazz club. It was fine for a nights stay. It was very central and the rooms clean and functional, no frills, bed not too comfortable but for one night ok.What let this hotel down was the towels, only one quite small towel per... More

Me and my mum decided to book a room in this hotel for her 50th birthday for two nights. The first night the only pleasant guy to talk to in the whole facility gave us a ground floor room. The room was fairy clan and spacious but it was as noisy as we were sleeping on the street. People banging... More

The room was small, but plenty of space for two adults, the staff was really helpful, we found our room really clean every day. With two metro strations 400 m away, within walking distance to Opera or louvre and in a populated and safe area, hotel du leman is a really good choice !

You get what you pay for rings true when i see all the one star reviews. I paid to go to Paris, not stay inside a hotel room long enough to find fault. The hotel was excellently located, 2 minutes from Cadet metro, and nearly on LaFayette. Once you master the metro, you will find it extremely great value. Arrived... More

hotel is small, lift is too small for two grown ups to go in together. the staff is cool and understanding. you can hear the neighbors through the wall. If you only need your hotel to sleep, it is a good choice.

I can highly recommend hotel Du Leman. The hotel is small and very French quaint, the staff are fantastic, helpful kind and patient. The rooms are small but they are clean and modern and the bathroom is modern too. It has a lift so you won't get stuck lugging heavy bags up stairs. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel... More

The location is great: just near the Cadet metro. 10 minutes walk will bring you to the Opera and Lafayette, in 30 minutes you'll see Louvre. Grand Boulevards station is also in 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and supportive. My grandmother doesn't speak English or French but they still managed to understand each other without... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
