A nice, small but friendly hotel in the centre of Paris (centre in the sense of the hotel invalides) and Seine as well as other places are in walking or metro distance. Hotel has small rooms, but that is the same for all big cities, e.g. London, a nice breakfast and can handle international guests. Prices range from ok to... More

Just returned from a weekend trip to Paris, staying at this hotel. The hotel is very small and very, very clean (housekeeping should be very proud). The bedroom itself was comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and a great view of the Eiffel Tower. The room was on the corner of the hotel and the road below was very noisy.... More

I went to Paris with my Mom and Stepfather and had a great time. The staff was very polite and the hotel was not to far from the Eiffel tower. There are many Cafés around this hotel. They have chairs and tables outside which is great for people watching while sipping on whiskey and smoking cigars!

Yes, yes, we loved our stay at this hotel! We traveled with a Rick Steve's Best of Europe group. The hotel is nicely situated - close to the Eiffel Tower, the quaint Rue Cler neighborhood, and a metro station. The hotel is small, cozy. Our room was on the smaller side, but was clean and the bed was comfortable. I... More

After scouring the internet for the perfect place to stay, I stumbled across this beauty on TripAdvisor. We knew we wanted a view of the Eiffel Tower from our room, and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by an extremely friendly woman working the front desk, who made sure our stay was top notch.... More

It is a small hotel but in a good location! There are plenty of restaurant nearby and a carrefour. I could get to metro stations within ten minutes by foot. Room was clean and spacious. If I've gotten a higher floor, I think I could have enjoyed a better view.( at least third floor, I think) I didnt have breakfast... More

We stayed 4 nights at the Hotel Duquesne Eiffel which is a nice hotel but not outstanding. Position wise was okay - about a 15 minute walk to the tower. The Met was also close by and a hop on-hop off bus route nearby. The hotel was clean, quality bedding and very good staff at reception. We didn't try breakfast... More

Lovely location 15 minutes walking distance from the Eiffel Tower and near Napoleon's tomb. Near the metro and bus stops. The rooms are really small (we were in room 25) but who needs a larger room when you are out exploring Paris all day and you have a fabulous view of the tower at night! The lady at the front... My husband and I traveled to Paris for the first time in Nov 2014 to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary. Top priority was a romantic hotel with spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower. Hotel Duquesne Tour Eiffel fit the bill to perfection! We booked our Superior Room months in advance and were not disappointed! We stayed in Room #35 our... More

We enjoyed our stay here last Feb. The location was pretty good as far as it was close to the subway entrance and walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. The rooms were small and we weren't prepared for that. I would recommend staying closer to Notre Dame as there seemed to be more to do around there compared to the... More

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
