Location, location location!!! I enjoyed the location because it was quiet during the day and evening but there were many cafes and bistros at every corner. The hotel rooms were soundproof. Yes the rooms are quaint and I loved opening the french doors in the morning to view the street activity. Just be prepared the European standard for rooms is... More

I stayed at this hotel back in 2011, and was so impressed that when booking this trip to Paris, the Hotel Duquesne Eiffel was my first choice. The hotel’s location (near café’s, restaurants, shops [Jean-Paul Hevin Chocolatier] & supermarket, Army Museum, ATM’s etc.) and views of Eiffel Tower (about 10 minute walk to Champ de Mars), as well as its... We stayed 8 nights here during a heat wave so very grateful for the air conditioning. The room was small so we could not unpack our gear but we managed. It was very clean and basic amenities provided. We could not get one of the rooms with the view of the Eiffel despite booking months ahead. I didn't find the... More

Upon arrival just before check-in, we were warmly greeted and allowed to go on into our room. We spent five nights in the standard room, which was small by American standards; however, we didn't spend much time in our room so it wasn't a big deal. The location was ideal and was very close to a Metro station, as well... More

I booked this hotel because of the advertised view of the Eiffel Tower at a good location and good value. It delivered. The hotel made a great first impession with Alex checking us in. I got a room with a view as I had requested. Got room 52, a Superior Room, with balcony and great view. Wished I had gotten... More

I stayed here for 6 nights, 3 in a comfort room (rm 57) and 3 in an Eiffel Tower view room (rm 55). To my surprise both rooms offered magnificent views of the Eiffel Tower. I especially wanted to see the Fireworks on Bastille Day and this hotel didn't disappoint. The staff were very friendly, Alex on the front desk... More

We stayed for three nights in a standard room. We were warmly welcomed and given some good hints on things to see as we've visited Paris several times. The location is superb, near the École Militaire and Eiffel Tower. As with most Paris hotels, the room was very small but nicely appointed with a mini fridge and tea kettle. We... More

Paris is a huge city and we found the perfect little haven at the Duquesne Eiffel. Rooms are comfortable and clean, neighborhood has a village like atmosphere but not so crowded. Close to Eiffel Tower, Napolean's Tomb, cafes, metro, buses, cabs. Glad we found it. Would return again for a third stay.

We stayed at the Hotel Duquesne Eiffel for 5 days. The location is near perfect. We could easily walk to the Eiffel Tower, Napolean's Tomb, Pont Alexandre III bridge, the Rodan and d'Orsay museums - so many sights were so close! The Metro was 2 blocks away so we were a train ticket away from most major attractions in Paris.... More

Small boutique hotel located near the Eiffel Tower. Walking distance to a neighborhood shopping district with small stores, butcher shop, fruit market. A taste of what a neighborhood in Paris would feel like. Lower cost vs. the downtown area near tour buses. Had a view of the Eiffel Tower at night. Very quiet which I loved after a day of... More

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
