We stayed here for 3 nights, the room was a little small but perfectly formed, the bed was comfortable, our room had aircon, the shower room was great, we had a balcony with stunning views over central Paris. The breakfasts were good, the staff were so friendly. I want to visit Paris again and really hope to stay here again.

The room was nice. Staff very helpful. A lot of noise from other guests. Warning...we never use credit cards but have them for the hotels as they register you. Our card was used by someone at the hotel for 2 transactions total about £800. So check. Our cc company was on the ball.

This hotel is perfectly place in the heart of Paris. Right across the street is the subway, very helpful. The hotel has a great staff that are extremely helpful. I had some items to send to the states and needed a box. The manager emptied one of her storage boxes so I could use it. Awesome! The rooms are small... More

Excellent Hotel, clean comfortable and secure. Staff were Proffessional, courteous efficient and very helpful. Great location , Blanche Metro close by and walking distance to Sacre Coeur. I would definitely stay here again.

This is the most beautiful hotel. My 12 year old wanted to be close to the Moulin Rouge. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The breakfast was great and the restaurant, too. We will stay here again. Fun.

Being very stylish place this hotel lacks some simple convenience. We liked its service, those people do their job very good. Wifi was unusable. No drawers, or even simple table. We used their bar chair as a table. Eating on a bed is not a good idea, really.

The hotel was great even if it was in the middle of the red light area. The staff were brilliant, very helpful. Internet wasn't great. Plenty great restaurants shops &a cafes in & about the serounding area. Even althought in the red light area just a few doors down from the moulin rouge, & across from a metro station, their... We chose Le Chat Noir due to its location in Montmart. We were aware in advance of the local red light establishments so were not put off by this. Just a couple of blocks up the hill one can find plenty of coffee shops, nice restaurants, food markets, and shopping. It is, in fact, a neighborhood away from much of... More

This hotel was a complete surprise! It was not my first choice hotel, but I'm really glad I ended up there! Nestled in the Parisian red light district of the Bvd Clichy I did not expect this cute boutique hotel at all. I was lucky enough to stay in the top floor apartment, the best feature of which was the... More

We stayed for one night at Le Chat Noir, partially because of the name, partially because I had never to Montmartre or Pigalle. Let me say first that the staff were very, very friendly and helpful. The location's bright side is that it is easy access to Sacre Coeur, the Montmartre cemetery and many cafes, shops and restaurants. You're not... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
