We stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute!! The hotel is lovely - a classic French boutique hotel with everything you need. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and assisted with our every need. They went above and beyond to make us feel so comfortable and welcome! Sanjay, Jade, and the rest of the staff are very... More

This was my 2nd stay at the Hotel Buci. My husband and I found the location to be ideal, unlimited great spots to dine, shop and sightsee right outside the front door, plus close and easy access to 2 metro stops. The entire staff is kind and helpful, always with a smile and pleasant attitude. I have stayed in the... More

We found the Hotel De Buci excellent..great location on left bank. The staff was always friendly and extremely helpful with any needs. Sanjay, the head concierge, made dinner reservations for us at the smaller restaurants that we enjoy.. Especially liked the tiny family Epigramme where he sent us. Our room was also lovely and breakfast attractive and good. We would... More

Hotel de Buci is located in St Germain de Pres area with many restaurants, cafes and shops around the hotel. It is a great central location. The staff was very accommodating and the room was big, and beautiful. We were on the courtyard side, so it was also very quiet. Sanjay was a great concierge and helped with booking popular... More

I've stayed at Hotel De Buci twice and both times were blissful experiences. The staff, especially Margaux literally catered to my every need. From directions, to museum tickets, to transportation, booking restaurant reservations, and even finding a specialty costume store for a photo shoot I did there. The massage at the nearby sister hotel was also divine. It is decorated... More

I moved to this hotel after having a bad experience in another hotel locally. It was such a pleasant surprise when we arrived and were shown to our room. It was stylish, comfortable, fairly quiet and just what we needed. We stayed in room 54. the view wasn't great and from time to time we were disturbed by the sound... More

We found this beautiful boutique hotel via TripAdvisor and boy, were we ever so glad and thankful we booked it. From the time we arrived until our last day in Paris, the hotel's impressive staff delivered above and beyond service. They made sure all our questions were answered correctly and our room/non-room needs were met. It also helped tremendously that... More

The location is excellent, close to the Seine and metro and bus services to the entire city. Staff were very helpful and the room was clean and more than adequate. Our room overlooked rue de Buci and was pretty noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, but closing the windows (and the shutters if you are not claustrophobic) solved most of... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
