The boutique hotel was Incredible. I went with my mother and sister in winter and we fell In love with everything about the hotel. The beds were huge and super comfortable. The rooms were stylish and made you feel like a princess. The breakfast had everything! And the staff were so friendly. The location was also great - you walk... More

My husband and I are currently staying here. I love Hotel de Buci! The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Also, the hotel is very close to Metro lines 4 and 10, which will get you anywhere you need to go in the city. But, best of all, we are close... More

Lovely small boutique hotel close to the hotel D'Abusson and in the same great area close to the Seine and most of Paris's great sights - museums , Louvre, art galleries etc. Great cafe's restaurants and in a very arty district of Paris. Very friendly staff, clean well furnished rooms in the old Parisienne style. Noisey area but double glazing... More

First of all let me paint a small picture. For Australians traveling in June to Paris it is expensive. Our dollar is lousy so for me to discuss value for money is not relevant to most other countries. We decided to stay at the buci on recommendation from a friend. They were not wrong. The position was perfect. We walked... More

Well situated for seeing many Paris attractions. Incredibly beautiful and quiet streets surround it. Wonderful location for exploring some off-the-beaten path places. And if you want lots of hustle and bustle, you've got it steps away from the hotel. The staff is very helpful and welcoming; Margaux, Edgar and Sanjay make you feel at home. My room was very tastefully... More

I agree with most of the reviews so won't repeat too much. Great location, friendly staff, lovely decor. The room I was in was TINY, literally one step in each direction possible around the bed. For one person it was fine but even for two it would be pretty tight.Very good soundproofing despite quite a busy night on the street.... More

We never get tired of good comments! Thanks for sharing your impression on the Hotel de Buci and its dynamic district on Tripadvisor. The room you were in was probably quite small, as almost every room in Paris, but we sincerely hope it was not too disturbing for you. Fortunately we have rooms with large superficies, so dot hesitate next... More

We chose this hotel for it's location. We thought St Germain would be a little quiet hideaway. Well, that doesn't exist in any part of Paris that we saw. Hotel rooms were nice. Small, spacious bathroom, and old French Colonial decor. No views. They said they had a bar, which was nothing more than an area in the library/lounge with... More

I must be honest here. Brutally honest. This is a VERY good hotel in a terrific location. The staff was helpful and their recommendations were -- without exception -- superb. My only regret is that I didn't book earlier. The room that we were in on the fourth floor (42) was small and when we peeked into the other rooms... More

We spent three nights at the Hotel De Buci and enjoyed it very much. Friendly helpful staff and a very nice room. My only slight complaint would be that the bathroom was a little on the small size. But apart from that it's perfect. It's situated in a brilliant part of Paris, surrounded by excellent restaurants and bars. The staff... More

Thanks a lot for your comment! The entire team is proud for having participated in your beautiful stay in Paris! We are sorry that you found the bathroom of your room a little bit too small, but it is the common size in Paris…! Please, come back soon! Best, Gregoire Berthelot – General Manager More

As a return guest having stayed in both this hotel and their sister hotel Atlas a few doors down I wanted to stay again. Booking on line my room offered a pre paid rate and I screen shot the price. I emailed to book directly. No response. I called and spoke with Catia who informed me my screen shot did... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
