Stayed here for a bday girls trip from 8/6 to 8/13 in double room. Room was gorgeous - just like the pictures online. Bed was deliciously comfy (be sure to get the big pillows out of the closet! ). Room is small - you are in Europe - but appointed perfectly with hairdryer, wonderful toiletries, coffee/tea and kettle - the... More

Visited Paris for the first time as a birthday treat. The Balmoral is ideally situated about 100 m from L'Arc de Triomphe but tucked away on a quiet side street so you do not experience any disturbing traffic noise. Our room was a standard on the ground floor opposite a small courtyard. It was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. It... More

Newly refurbished comfortable and clean rooms. Large clean bathroom (Superior Room). Hotel Staff are very polite and helpful. Location is good for Arc de Triomphe, Champs, metro access. Breakfast is simple (given the small size of hotel) but does the job and quality is good. 6 floors, very slow lift so floors 1-3 ideal if you can take the stairs.... More

This was our first visit to Paris and were a bit wary of what to expect. We needn't have worried. The staff at the Balmoral could not have been more welcoming, helpful or efficient. Our room, a standard, was spacious enough, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bathroom was great too. Breakfast was a good selection of continental fare plus fresh... More

The hotel was recommended by a friend for its wonderful accommodations and great location. It did not disappoint. We encountered great weather for the next 4 days and had such a pleasant stay. Our room was perfect. It was not small by Paris standards with an equally roomy bathroom. The hotel was quiet and housekeeping unintrusive. Staff provided us with... More

Just returned from a two night stay to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We were a little disappointed that there was no mention of this, despite my husband making it clear when booking. A little note, upgrade or free drink would have been a nice touch! However, this aside, the hotel was immaculate and welcoming with a quirky style. We... More

The people were very friendly and fluent in English. The hotel was very clean. The air conditioner was a blessing. A lot of places we visited had no air conditioning or very minimal air conditioning. The breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious. I woudl highly recommend this hotel. Our room was very small is hte only down side.

We had a short two night stay at the Hotel Balmoral and loved it. Close to metro, shops, great restaurants and the Air France shuttle bus. Very helpful staff and excellent facilities and room. Beds were very comfortable, with robes, kettle, and a nespresso machine.

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
