I booked this room as part of a deal with Eurostar for a 4 night trip to Paris. This hotel is very basic. A good bed, a nice shower. Pretty much all we needed as we knew we would be out exploring all the time. A small breakfast room is at the back of reception and there is a vending... More

Stayed here for 3 nights, starting from the 19th of November, until the 22nd. The fact of the matter is that when you are booking online via Eurostar, they showed hotels with breakfast included. As me and my partner arrived on the 19th for the check-in, we were only told the times the breakfast would be from. Not the price... More

The lobby was so dirty that I didn't even stay long enough to see the room. I don't know how old those pictures are on line but the lobby looked nothing like that! The fish tank had 2-3 inches of green water in it. If there were any fish in there, we couldn't see them. Scary experience. I stayed long... More

Stayed here for three nights at the end of June and was fairly disappointed. The rate was fairly reasonable for Paris, and I can understand the room being a bit small, but it was extremely dirty. Walking on the floor in bare feet or socks left the bottom of my feet covered in dirt. Also the towels in the bathroom... More

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room, although funnily shaped, was very clean and pleasant to be in (also very quiet at night) . We did not take breakfast as we thought it was overpriced; there were plenty of cafes nearby though where we easily could grab something to eat in the morning. Staff spoke English and was... More

So, we stayed in this hotel for 6 nights, and we were quite pleased with it. The room wasn't that small (we had a triple), but the bathroom was, but it was very clean which was important to us. The hotel has a great location, you can reach everything quickly, there's a market across the street and cafés and restaurants... More

So, this hotel isnt grand and its not luxury. There are no frills and the rooms are small/the bathrooms tiny but every time we visit Paris (yearly, sometimes more) this is where we choose to stay. The location is excellent, the staff friendly, helpful and hard working. The rates are reasonable for Paris so what more could you ask for?... More

Still not sure how they got their rating: no coffee maker, no toiletries ( railway station stile dispenser), expensive, a minuscule room and an expensive, slow wi-fi, plain looking property. All in all, the experience I had was much closer to that in an average Parisian two star hotel than a self respecting three star hotel. The location is nice,... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
