The only advantage of this hotel is that it is centrally located. Otherwise, it is filty (I had to ask twice in the morning to make up the room and someone came only in the evening, trew a new towel, didn't clean, didn't change anything and left), noisy, and not too secure (twice during my stay I arrived at what stands... We were in room 202, it was fine. Very tiny and i can say clean, even if it needs some refreshment. Great location, but if you considering coming with a car, there is no parking. Only paid one 300m from the hotel. A bit nosy from out side and the elevator i so so small

Having just stepped in, I was literally shocked. Never in my life had I ever seen a dirtier place, and I luckily haven't so far. Everything in the room was extremely filthy, there were cockroaches in the bathroom and bugs in the bed. The switches, the walls, the floor and even the ceiling - all that was disgustingly filthy and... More

I have just left the hotel a day early. There were bugs in the hotel and I now have insect marks all over my body. The guy at reception spoke very poor English and was generally unhelpful. When I told him about the bugs at 10 am he said he'd move me to a different room only after I packed... More

I spent there 2 nights. The good thing is that the hotel is in paris itself (near metros, and restaurants) . The rooms are good but not that clean, and the elevator is really small. I think the price is a little bit high for those conditions. Nb: don't take your breakfast there. Theres to many places near the hotel... More

The greeting is not warm and we had to wait several minutes before anyone showed at the desk, even after ringing the bell several times. This hotel is located in a very noisy area. Do not plan on getting to sleep before 2 AM. The elevator is tiny. We had to go up to our room separately just to take a... More

I was booked to stay at this hotel for two nights. You cannot beat its location, in the heart of Les Halles and 2 minutes walk from my client. The property is on a pedestrianised zone, so the taxi couldn't take me to the door. The property is old. The elevator is so tiny that I couldn't put one foot... More

We stayed there as a family in a triple room June 2014. This is NOT a 3-star hotel as they claim it to be:old and shabby, very small and no coffeemaker in the room. The upside that it is close to the Louvre and the stuff speaks good English. However, the cost of it doesn't match up with very limited... More

the hotel is in centre of town and a minutes walk from train station. Our room overlooked the street and was great to sit and watch Paris go by. Our windows were full length double and opened out so you could see clearly onto the street with a little metal balcony fence. There were cool wooden sliding doors which blocked... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
