The hotel is situated in a very good location, 200 metres from the Place de la Madeleine, staff is friendly, breakfast simple but adequate. Rooms are not large, but is normally found in large cities.This year we go back to the same hotel

This is a drab and ordinary property. The rooms look like jail cells, dark, poorly lit, with cheap furnishings. The headboard was a piece of corrugated plastic. I consider myself as a frequent traveler in this hotel. Although rooms are extremly small - some of then I had trouble in exit from the shower - location is perfect and price is reasonable. I always ask for the 'bunker", a room in ground floor that at least have more space.

The Paris office of my company booked me in here for one night, but apart from its proximity to the office, I don't know why. Stayed in April 2009 (but tripadvisor doesn't allow me to choose an older date) .The room is very small but that was expected. But it was cozy and clean. So if you want to stay in Paris for a night or two, this could be a good consideration. Excellent location, walking distance to Lafeyette.

Stayed here in 2008, heard that the hotel had been refurbished and stayed again in July 2010.. Room improvements are visible. Of course in Paris you should expect small rooms and this place is no different. However it is a tidy hotel in a great location.

We stayed for 7 nights. We paid AUD$200+ for a std room. The room we got was at the back on the 1/F facing the back staircase. It was dark, lack of natural light and tiny.
