Excellent value in a smart, well run, friendly small hotel in a quiet street in the perfect location in central Paris. A 5 minute walk for the Louvre, the Opera, excellent shopping and a very wide selection of restaurants.

Located on a quiet street just blocks from the Louvre, Place Vendome, the Opera and the Metro. Room was charming (702) and small (that's how it is in Europe, get over it or go to Disneyland). I slept with the windows wide open and never heard a peep from this metropolis. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless.... More

Stayed here in a triple room for a long weekend from the 1-3 of November. Really fantastic hotel. Perfect location, well located on a quiet street - a short walk to lots of sights and close to a few Metro stations. Shops and supermarket within a couple minutes walk. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming. The room itself... More

This hotel has a great location. The hotel staff is friendly, and everyone makes you feel very welcome. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean, and are quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is available each morning, and it includes delicious bread, cheeses, fruit, meat, eggs, and more. There are good restaurants and cafes within close proximity of the hotel, From our arrival... More

My friend and I stayed at the Louvre Marsollier Oct 15th to Oct 18th...while the rooms are TINY, they were kept spotless, the a/c kept the room nice and cool and the shower had great water pressure. Warning, we stayed on the 6th floor and the elevator will not fit two people with suitcases...funny for us but I'm assuming people... More

We stayed here 2 nights and our beds were comfortable and pillows were great. Our window opened to an alley so it was quiet and we never heard our neighbors. The air conditioning worked great and the hotel staff were very pleasant. If you exit the hotel and head left the restaurants are less expensive then the tourist areas. Easy... More

The staff responded a couple times when I had questions prior to our visit. They were charming and helpful during our stay. The hotel is close to the Opera metro stop but inside a square on a side street so not on a busy thoroughfare. We had a small room for three, a queen bed and pull-out single that was... More

Our room had windows that opened up right onto the wall of the building next door but this turned out to be a blessing as we could throw the windows wide open to get air through the room and still have complete privacy. Bathroom was very cramped (so small the loo is installed at a 45 degree angle so it... More

it's actually a pretty nice hotel. Rooms are small but not ridiculously so. Staff is very gracious. Great location, accessible to everything. Two disappointments though. Lesser one, hotel is tired, needs a sprucing up. Mold around tub, stuff like that. Secondly, the doors are very noisy and close with a big thump. This is an issue when the housekeeping staff... The hotel itself is pretty small, but they still manage to have all the necessary ameneties. There is a very small lift, there is aircondition in the rooms, there is a small, but nice bathroom and the internet works good also. The staff is very friendly and helpful. With a central location located in the heart of the Japanese restaurant... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
