Location was amazing it was a few minutes away from the Eiffel tower and the rooms where large it had free Wi-Fi and iit didn't have children's activities. The room looked like it was battered and it had too expensive food and drink. Overall it was good apart from the expense

Situated just few minutes walk from Eiffel, this is a lovely place to stay if you only here for a couple of days. You won’t get good view of the tower tho, if you are lucky enough to get allocated to the rooms facing the road, the tip of the tower is all that you can see (and from the... More

We have now stayed at this hotel several times. Enough cannot be said of the wonderful beds and beautiful bed linens. There is a small lift--most helpful. The rooms are quiet and well appointment. Although the rooms are not large, they are large by Paris standards! We once stayed in an apartment smaller than our room here! The multi-lingual staff... More

Family of 4 in a very small room. Neat and clean. Staff were okay - some better than others. Wi-fi was only avail sometimes in the rooms but consistently in the lobby. Breakfast was expensive and limited- charged for everything - jams and peanut butter packets! A great location - walk to the tower, and easily access the tour buses.... More

Very nice and helpful staff. We were lucky and ended up with a high floor room, facing the eiffel tower which was amazing at night on our little balcony. it was a small room, but worked perfectly, and the bathroom was a decent size. i would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend it! (we stayed in december 2012,... More

Picking a place to stay in Paris is as much about picking the area as it is the hotel itself. Our strong preference is the 7th Arrondissement. It has more of an authentic Parisian neighborhood feel and less of a touristy big international city vibe. Our favorite place in the 7th wasn't available on our last stay due to late... More

I first must say, that a few days after we checked out of the Hotel La Bourdonnais, they closed for major renovations that will take them from the 3 star hotel to a 4 star hotel. We loved the quiet location in close proximity to the Eiffel Tower, Rue Cher, and a metro stop. The bathroom was huge and did... More

After all these years, I finally got to Paris in May, 2013. We stayed at Hotel La Bourdonnais, and I was in love as soon as we entered the doors. Clean, friendly, convenient (the Eiffel Tower is a near-by neighbor!), and reasonable, each day was a delight in this fabulous city, because staying at this hotel was so nice! Loved... More

The location and price were reasonable but the benefits of this hotel stop there. Rick Steves described this hotel as very "parisian" if that implies very tired accomodations then he was right. The sitting area had a chair that was torn and the overall furnishings were very worn. The beds were modest and the linens particularly the bedspread looked and... More

We had never been to Paris. Our travel agent in the USA recommended this one. It was a good choice. The big bonus was the close proximity to the Eiffel Tower, Champ de Mars, Napoleon's Tomb, and the Metro station. Frankly, the Metro station was the best thing for us as it was convenient and could get us all over... More
