My wife and I stayed 6 nights at the Alison Hotel in September 2014. Overall, we had a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. As other reviewers have said, it is situated in an excellent location on the right bank. We went all over Paris using the following four metro stops: Madeleine, Concorde, Miromesnil, & Champs-Elysees Clemenceau. Madeleine is closest (5... More

We had a great experience at Hotel Alison. Our room was a decent size, it was on an upper floor, and the bathroom was pretty big. The bathtub was very nice, huge actually. Our only complaint is that the internet would not work in our room, so we would use the wifi in the lobby if we needed to, wasn't... More

Great experience! Close to everything (walking distance) yet on a very quiet street. The room is a bit small but it is in the centre of Paris, it was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Wi-Fi worked well. Very good value for the price we paid. We would recommend to everyone.

When in Paris, like any major city, we don't expect spacious or luxury if we don't spend a lot for it. From the state of the lobby and the lift, we were expecting tight and out-dated rooms but surprisingly the rooms and bathrooms were in good condition and well-presented. We were surprised to have a room with a little balcony,... More

Well what can I say??? This hotel was okay and just about a 3 star. The only good point was the location (5 minutes from the metro). Oh and the polite guy who let us in late on our last night and was the only person to make us feel welcome. The bad points: I have never come across such... More

The room was absolutely tiny, basically big enough for the bed and an uncomfortable metal chair. I was travelling alone, so this is likely their single room even though it had a double bed (which is much better than a single bed to save space, in my opinion). The room otherwise was fine, clean and quiet. The location is excellent... More

I hope to go back to this hotel. I had only one night here and spent much of my time walking around Paris so I didn't have the chance to really enjoy the hotel. I liked the styling of the room I stayed in, the lobby which actually had space to sit, WiFi and helpful concierge. The location was very... More

We stayed 11 nights and was very happy. Our clean, spacious, quiet room faced the courtyard & the staff was friendly, professional & accommodating. Walked to Concorde, Louvrve, D'Orsay, Arc de Triomphe,Notre Dame & Eiffel Tower. Great nearby Eateries, Wine Bar, Pharmacies and close Metra made it easy to connect with trains to Normandy, Catacombs, Amsterdam etc.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights alone. I had expected smaller rooms in Paris but to my surprise, it is bigger than expected. The only downside to it is the location. It is located in a small alley and not very near the metro station. I always got lost and had to circle the Madeleine church to find... More

We're just back today from 3 nights here. A very nice 3* hotel. Location at the rear of Madeleine is perfect. All the staff we met were very pleasant and professional. The location is the key 20 minutes walk equally to the Louvre, Champs Elysee, 10 minutes to Rue St Honore. 30 mins walk to Tour de Eiffel and Hospital... More

This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th-century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques.
