Stayed in Hotel Alison over the weekend and I was very pleased with this hotel. It's located at the center of the city, within walking distance to everything. It's only 10 minutes walk to Champs Elysee, Madeleine church, Rue de Honore, etc. The room is very small but this is Paris, what do you expect. Bathroom and bedroom were VERY... More

This 3 star hotel is close to absolutely everything. The breakfast is nice for the price they charge you and the staff is nice too. The room was a little bit small but always very clean. I would definitely stay there again!

Two friends and myself stayed in this hotel to do some sightseeing in Paris. The hotel, is very well placed in the district Madeleine and within walking distance of many good attractions, museums, the Obelisk etc. The rooms are compact, neat and clean. Staff are very helpful and kind. We didn't eat there but they do cater. We walked to... More

If you want to see paris then this is the perfect place to stay. Reasonable prices and the location is fantastic. We walked to most attractions (take some comfortable shoes!). The staff were always very helpful and the room was clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable and no noise could be heard. The trip from the airport to the... More

My wife and I stayed 6 nights at the Alison Hotel in September 2014. Overall, we had a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. As other reviewers have said, it is situated in an excellent location on the right bank. We went all over Paris using the following four metro stops: Madeleine, Concorde, Miromesnil, & Champs-Elysees Clemenceau. Madeleine is closest (5... More

We had a great experience at Hotel Alison. Our room was a decent size, it was on an upper floor, and the bathroom was pretty big. The bathtub was very nice, huge actually. Our only complaint is that the internet would not work in our room, so we would use the wifi in the lobby if we needed to, wasn't... More

Great experience! Close to everything (walking distance) yet on a very quiet street. The room is a bit small but it is in the centre of Paris, it was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Wi-Fi worked well. Very good value for the price we paid. We would recommend to everyone.

When in Paris, like any major city, we don't expect spacious or luxury if we don't spend a lot for it. From the state of the lobby and the lift, we were expecting tight and out-dated rooms but surprisingly the rooms and bathrooms were in good condition and well-presented. We were surprised to have a room with a little balcony,... More

Well what can I say??? This hotel was okay and just about a 3 star. The only good point was the location (5 minutes from the metro). Oh and the polite guy who let us in late on our last night and was the only person to make us feel welcome. The bad points: I have never come across such... More

The room was absolutely tiny, basically big enough for the bed and an uncomfortable metal chair. I was travelling alone, so this is likely their single room even though it had a double bed (which is much better than a single bed to save space, in my opinion). The room otherwise was fine, clean and quiet. The location is excellent... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
