Thought we'd booked 2 rooms together - but this wasn't forthcoming and just the start of a downward spiral - wallpaper hanging off walls in huge chunks, filthy paintwork and scuffed walls, doors didnt fit anywhere (had to be locked to stay shut), no toilet paper but loo flush broken so perhaps no need!! Then changed rooms - only thing... more

I found the room in this Hotel to be a very clean, and cosy (with adjustable radiator) all old fashioned. It reminds one of 50s when one sees some preserved originals. So if you are after the glamorous shining plastic and tiles and razmataz then this is not a place for you. The Hotel is in an OLD building. Run... more

I booked this hotel thru my agent. The hotel is not centrally located with not much in walking distance, one has to take the train to go anywhere. The lift is too small with ordinary rooms.Breakfast served is ok. But the owner of the hotel, a very warm lady who can speak decent English is the best part about this place. She even... more

I was ready for small room, optimal service level and simple breakfast. But even for that, the hotel was disappointment!!! Very Very small room, not very clean...carpet appeared very unclean and dusty. Approach to the room from lift was complete dark. Had tough time to locate the light switch....door was not very firm....good part was two old ladies at the... more

My husband and I just returned from staying there for four nights. The staff there was helpful and the hotel was close to the metro and the residential neighborhood was great. We walked around the neighborhood late at night as well and everyone we encountered were very nice and even helped us find a pharmacy. However, the hotel room and... more

Please note: this is NOT the Ambassador Hotel. My wife and I just happened to realize this on the plane on the way to Paris. Thankfully, it is in a fairly convenient location, about five minutes walk from the Metro. There was no noise from outside (though we were there offseason and the windows were closed). The walls are very... more

Room/Carpet was dirty, smelled bad. Shower room was molded, smelled terrible and shower curtain was over >30 centimeters to long. Could not use the phone in the room (old rotary type) half hanging from the wall. Pillows were bad and small. I did not see any Fire Alarms in the room although maybe there could have been some in the... more
