We stayed at this hotel for the French "Crufts" last weekend right by Paris Expo where the show was staged. It is a little out on a limb away from the centre but that is no fault of the hotel ! Expecting nothing special it was quite the opposite. On arrival with our car and roof box we were told... more

Recently returned from a whirlwind tour of Paris with a large group of teachers. We were accomodated as group at this hotel and were not dissappointed. I found this hotel to be a similar set up to an Embassy Suites. The rooms surround an interior atrium that houses the restaraunt, front desk and lobby. Our rooms were doubles. They had... more

We were part of a tour group and found this to be a very comfortable hotel. There was actually a bathtub and a good-sized bathroom. We were in Paris one night and then returned a few days later. The first room was prettier than the room we had later. The room was not as cool as we wished but we... more

After reading the other reviews, I didn't know what to expect. I was traveling with a group of 36, and I found the hotel to be very unice. The rooms were clean, the lobby was attractive and large enough to fit 36 of us while we waited for our room assignments from our tour director. There were even phones in... more

We stayed in this hotel on a Globus Tour (Scenic Delights) for 2 nights. The hotel is very nice. Our room was spacious and clean. We ate breakfast each morning in the hotel restaurant. There was a good variety of food on the buffet and lots of croissants and pastries. This hotel is not in the heart of Paris. There... more

If I was scoring this hotel solely on its rooms then it would get one star, they are as mentioned in a previous review like hostel rooms. The corridor leading up to the rooms is ugly and when you enter your room you wonder why it is so dark. As you go to open the large curtain you realised it... more

Big and modern hotel, large rooms, decent bathroom and good comfort. Clean and maintained. No atmosphere but no bad surprise, hotels in Paris can be really bad which is not the case here. Staff are unpleasant like most people you deal with in Paris. Hotel is far away from city centre. For the price you can get a better location... more

I stayed at the Mercure Porte de Versailles Hotel at June 2006. My experience was good because the hotel is in a good location, you just need to walk around 15 minutes to get to the subway and you can connect to all the city. The service of the hotel is just what you need, nothing more. The breakfast is... more

A decent hotel for the money. Rooms were fine - our shower head was broken but called the front desk and it was fixed immediately. Staff at front desk were friendly and helpful. Staff in the restaurant a bit odd - if our family came down for breakfast separately we weren't allowed to sit together - not sure why. When... more

We stayed at this "hotel" in September; it really should be called a hostel. Our room smelled SO disgusting - like a gigantic ashtray had exploded immediately before we walked in. The staff were TERRIBLE - they could not even give a decent description as to how to get to the metro. By the way, if you want to be... more
