The hostel looks like a palace but on the inside is comfy and warm. The location is quiet and there's not a lot of people at least in January when the garden can't be really enjoyed. Breakfast is great and included. Fantastic service provided by Dan!

Great hostel to stay in, it has a very nice location near the Lafayette galleries and other cafes! The staff is great and very hospitable especially the ladies who serve breakfast; which is free from 7:15-8;15 am. Great for students!! Recommend it!

I stayed here for more than a week while I found housing and it's such a great place. Everyone who works here is so welcoming and nice, the rooms and bathrooms are well kept and neat. I'd stay here again. We had complimentary breakfast in a beautiful hall down stair and the women who served us were so polite and... More

This hostel was average at best. It was EXTREMELY difficult to find. There is no sign out front other than a tiny piece of paper on the call button to enter the hostel. We would not have found it if a couple had not helped us. The wifi is not free. The beds and pillows are uncomfortable while the blankets... More

This hostel is a fantastic place for students. A group of American of students and I stayed here for a week. The place was clean, nice, and the service was very hospitable. Little breakfast included, spacious rooms and great rates. Close to a lot of restaurants and supermarkets!

The staff was wonderful and understanding. They spoke many languages and had the ability to accommodate one's needs as best they could! The rooms were clean and neat, as well as simple. The bathrooms were clean as well. I'd stay there again.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
