This place was great. Yes small rooms, but this is normal for Paris. It was expensive but more affordable than other comparable hotels. The location was perfect for exploring the city. Everything was small including the pool. It was very nice and fun to swim in. The staff was great. Would I go back? Yes, I would! I highly recommend... More

Hotel has very good location close to centre of Paris and in a quiet side street. Service is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good for Paris. It is not very extensive but everything is of good quality. We had a suite on the 6-the floor, the only disadvantage was a skew and low ceiling in the big part of... More

This hotel is a little gem. Great location next to the opera house. Walking distance to all the attractions. Request a room facing the opera house. The staff was beyond attentive and helpful! They go out of their way to make your stay fantastic. The plunge pool is really beautiful.

Truly loved this little boutique hotel. My room was beautiful and the location was terrific. Close to shopping, metro and the Opera House. The honesty bar had delicious treats. The staff was friendly too. The bathroom was even pretty although there was only a shower, no tub to soak in. I would love to stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff, nicely decorated, very clean. There wasn't anything to not like about this hotel. Room was typical european size (cozy). Nice location-Very close to the Opera, great shopping and restaurants, and a comfortable walk to The Louvre. Just a block away from the Metro. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris. Hope to be back... More

This hotel is very nicely decorated and the situation is good. Yet the rooms are very small and dark. In a big capital city, one can expect to have small rooms but we did have windows which would get almost no light (very small courtyard). The room was expensive and we were not convinced about the value for money.

Dear Guest, Thank you for leaving your impressions on Tripadvisor following your recent stay with us. We sincerely regret that the hotel was not up to your expectations even though you enjoyed the location and the decoration. You had reserved a classic room and most of them face the courtyard. It is true that there isn't a lot of light... More

This was a great hotel! The staff was really nice and friendly. Julien and Hakim helped us with directions, restaurant and bar recommendations and shopping areas. The hotel was about 10-15 minutes from all of the tourist attractions, which was great. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The snacks in the honesty bar were also delicious. I would def... I took my girlfriend here just before Christmas for a long weekend and cannot recommend La Maison Favart highly enough. From the moment we were greeted by the staff to the moment we were collected by our taxi upon departure we could not have been made to feel more at home, which in essence is exactly what we were after.... I LOVED this boutique hotel. My partner and I stayed for one night – the room, while small, was beautifully decorated and the staff were very attentive. We stayed here for 3 nights. I do not want to be unfair to the hotel, which is gorgeously decorated, but we were disappointed by the size of the room. There was just room to move round the bed. The hotel isn't cheap, and we did feel that it was too expensive for the size of the room. Breakfast was... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
