La Maison Favart is a truly wonderful hotel. The hotel décor is superb, the rooms are superb, the staff are superb. Basically my wife and 9 year old daughter stayed just one night and we will definetly be going back. I travel quite abit in my job and have stayed at many hotels across Europe. This is one of the... Very walkable to everything we needed plus metro and taxis very close by for everything else, this place is a good find. Lovely service, cute rooms and very enjoyable stay all round. There are the usual high charges for breakfast, which seem the same all over Paris, but the dining room is very attractive or there are plenty of places... More

We stayed here about 18 months ago and wanted to comeback to experience Paris at Christmas time and the hotel didn't disappoint. It has added some really nice touches like the fire in the reception area, massage room and the wonderful shower in the room. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. It's in my top... More

We loved this hotel. The room, the services, everything was just perfect in every way and I would recommend it to the pickiest of travellers. The location is beyond perfect. Great for Marais shopping, the museums and strolls along the Seine.

Great location, beautifully decorated hotel, room was tiny but pretty with lovely views, super attentive staff and a brilliant concierge who went out of his way to make our stay memorable. Hotel has a relaxed and intimate feel - even a small little spa in the basement - really pretty. A great find in Paris and a good alt to... More

Wonderful stay at LA Maison Favart. The hotel, room and service are all excellent. It was a rainy weekend in Paris, but none of this dampened our experience in a Loft Suite. We round the room and its layout very comfortable and the hotel staff worked hard to get everything just right. The location is also great for shopping, the... More

Stayed two nights at this hotel and it was a pleasure. A classic example of a boutique hotel, all the staff were more than helpful from helping with luggage to directions in the city. Modern decor in the reception area which followed throughout the hotel. Standard double room was spotlessly clean with a cosy feel. The bathroom was more modern... More

Is this more expensive than your average Parisian hotel? Yes. Is this better than you average Parisian hotel? Yes. Located just a few meters down a small street, this unique, boutique hotel will not disappoint you. Here, you have Paris for your feet and everything's within walking distance. We only used the Metro once. The design is very distinct and... More

Tucked down a quiet side street, the staff were friendly and helpful and it isn't too far to walk to the main sites. Basement wellness centre was a nice treat (with a automatic water jet massage bed an unusual but relaxing feature). Will stay again next time we are in Paris.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
