Like Alice in Wonderland I found myself in dreamy disbelief at this magical little gem hidden behind the busy boulevard. From its hidden location to its plush and beautiful furnishings, not a single decadent detail was spared. With its colorful palette of pinks and pretty purples, one could not help but linger even longer in the lobby. The staff was... More

The Hotel is nice located. Very nice decorated and friendly staff. The breakfast was very good quality , but could have a wider selection in my opinion. The room was nice and quite. The only minus in our visit was the restaurant recommendations that the concierge gave us. Typical tourist traps. Very expensive and very low quality....The concierge was very... More

We stayed 3 nights at La Maison Favart in February. The room was small, but we are accustomed to this as we come to cities to explore, not hang out in the room. The hotel was quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the stand up shower was AMAZING. We didn't partake in the... More

We stayed at Maison Favart in April for 7 days and had a great stay. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a duplex suite which was spacious and beautifully decorated. Pros of this hotel: -quiet street off of L'Opera Comique -Close to great restaurants, cafes, shopping and central for walking distance to the major sites -Very attentive staff, especially Hakim.... I spent three nights at La Maison Favart and I had a wonderful stay. Everything was just perfect, the staff was exceptionally professional and kind. I will recommend this charming boutique hotel to my colleagues and friends visiting Paris. I will stay there again on my next trip to Paris. Thanks again.

We would like to thank the staff for our wonderful stay at La Maison Favart in April. On the day we arrived (April 7) we were really early. The staff made us comfortable, served us coffee, and had our room available by 11AM. Later in the day we were given a bottle of champagne, a gift for my husband's birthday.... More

This is a very good hotel. Obviously I found it through TripAdvisor, so you should only read a few more reviews to gather the full idea about the place. I particularly liked the location. Since a long time I have been trying to find the right hotel in Paris, but this is not an easy task. Either they are too... More

We were recommended this hotel by friends who had a wonderful time there last year. My husband and I were visiting Paris for our wedding anniversary and we wanted to stay in a romantic hotel in the heart of Paris. This hotel did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived we were in heaven! We were given a room overlooking... More

We stayed here for a romantic last night in Paris. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was full and felt a bit crowded. Our room was small and ok, but not as cute as the rooms shown on the website. Very nice bathroom though! The pool and sauna are unique and make for a refreshing afternoon activity.... More

We chose this hotel for my husband's birthday because of the affordability, location and the fact that it's a boutique hotel (don't care much for chains). The location was perfect, breakfast was relish, the beds were super comfortable and the concierge even made reservations for several sight seeing tours and dinner at Moulin Rouge. Overall, great hotel for couples. Side... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
